Just watched it now his point on be careful what you wish for to the other clubs they’ll be having sleepless nights now thinking what have they got on us. He is and has been from day one a wonderful human being and you can tell more than ever he’s going nowhere I hope and pray this drags on for years so we will have the best manager around our club for a long time to come

Easiest team talks of his career coming up, simply "these bastards want to take away what you've achieved" if they cant get fired up against the teams trying their hardest to take it from them, sit on the bench and let someone else who will. Would love to see us make go on a run of not just beating teams but battering them!

SIdenote: I fucking love Pep!

Brilliant stuff from Pep, it would’ve been easy to make a short statement saying he would not be commenting on the charges, etc…. But he came out all guns blazing and made some very good points. Innocent until proven guilty, we’ve been here before and so on. This stuff should be obvious but has been ignored.

Great to hear his commitment to the club too, you really get the sense that this kind of unfairness drives him mad but makes him all the more determined to win in the end.

Just watching it now, the way he called out all the 9 clubs who complained about us, by name, loved that.
Then widened it to the 19 other clubs in the Prem.
Then linked in the hate against the Abu Dhabi ownership.
Then the fact that there is no apologies when we have been found innocent and won't be again.
Then who next will come after us.
Then a warning and a veiled admission that other clubs are equally pulling accounting stunts.
Then he's more committed to stay and it feels like he is more fired up than ever.

Couldn't feel prouder right now, you beautiful bald bastard.

Sunday will be a cracking atmosphere - bring the hate to all those that hate us. Boo the PL anthem, we will prevail.

Echo your thoughts. Pep's presser certainly galvanised me which has been a tough week for all blues concerned.

Can't make it for Sunday's Villa game but can our fellow Blues please be as loud & proud for Pep & the team. We need to make the Etihad a bearpit from now on.

My thoughts exactly, plus the warning to 'be careful what you wish for, because you might be next,if you challenge the status quo' , and saying we will want reparations for the reputational damage ,or words to that effect. So it's not a free hit they thought it was, there will be consequences.
There SHOULD be consequences if and when we are cleared. There would be in any other walk of life. Get ourselves cleared and then take the twats to the cleaners in the courts. The damage they have done to one of the most reputable clubs in world football is already irreparable.

He finally understands, fuck all this united praise of the past, this speech is a rallying cry for all of us, he is boiling, he is as mad as us and wants revenge for all of it, the innuendo, the lack of praise for his and our success.

The premier league does not know what they are about to unleash.

In one way (i don't really) I would love to see them put us in the bottom league and have Pep stay and sweep all before him, doing what all the haters say he can't do, chequebook Pep etc maybe even a team of youths.

A fantastic press conference Pep, brilliant.
