PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Indeed. We have been too nice to the media and other clubs over the years. We should be open to any journalist who is fair and closed to any that aren’t. If there is a Pep interview to be had then Samuel gets it. The tossers from the papers you wouldn’t wipe your arse on should be fucked off completely.

These bits are fun, but it's more important that the club actually combat the misleading narrative that's been created and Pep can't do that on his own.

If you speak to non CIty fans, they have all been convinced that "City got off on a technicality" because that's what half a dozen journalists, who were convinced it was a slam dunk, fell back on when they got shown up.

The truth as we all know is that only 1 email/sponsorship/charge was time barred, and from the panel's conclusions on the other issues it's impossible to conclude anything other than it would have been thrown out as well if it was actually looked it. They decided emails weren't proof of action, and all UEFA had was emails.

But that narrative of City surviving on a technicality was hammered home and spread and now it's what the average person thinks. Not that all but one of the charges were looked at and dismissed.

Hopefully they have gotten smarter, and have a strategy for getting their version of events - which by the way is the fucking truth after all, not some half truth excluding most of the verdict - into the papers and into the public consciousness.

WHile your at it, can you knock me one up as follows -

"I got 99 problems, but a Pitch aint one" ideally with City crest underneath, many thanks in advance :-)

Change the face to Pep & we could get a whole range.

if we would still following the same soft PR take on this thing that many said City is doing very well not laying a hand on any false rumours for best part of a decade then PR team would have told Pep to stay quiet, reference the club statement and not go into any details about the charges and the case...

instead we see what happens when gloves are off. end of the day some of these cartel clubs dont like to be accused. but thats what City faced last 10 years, being accused..

to be honest it was also needed for the team that was not performing anything close to the level, there were unrest in the dressing room, certain conflicts and just general rubbish form of quite a few top players. hopefully this bit of drama created by the PL charges will wake us up, will galvanize Pep and the team to dig deeper and start getting results and start paying with more pace, more energy more passion. we need that as PL clubs are out to get us, and CL is never easy Leipzig will be up for a fight too.

we need to deliver a big win tomorrow, and fans need to make their sound to be heard, as Villa at home is probably the easiest fixture we have left this season. we need to rip them apart from the start. they need to feel after the game that they wish they were not the team City faced first after this PL disgrace of charges.
