The only disappointment is that we are not at the level where we can coast.
We always throw up chances and cede control for periods when we take a breather.
We did wrestle control back at the end however and ran out the clock. We should have been two more goals to the good though.

Sloppy as fuck at times still. Was hoping for a nice dominant win, which we got, but would have liked a better performance. Still sloppy defensively but I'm sure we will go to Arsenal with a much more defensive structure, and hopefully look to go long a bit more as Haaland showed even a wayward pass can be turned into something with his pace and power.

They're one of the cunts that want us punished, we have a chance to hurt them in the greatest way by replacing them at the top. Then Emery can get his own revenge with Villa next weekend. Time to pull ahead of those fuckers.
 
I thought we played really well in the first half.
Some of our passing and moves were top quality and we could've easily have been 5 up at the half, no-one would've been surprised we were that dominant.
It starts with being solid at the back and even with Bernardo slotting in the left back we just looked better and the team just looked more secure aswell as more free and confidant.
I like Akanji and he's done well but Ruben is a different level. He needs to start on Wednesday for me.

The second half was completely different with the subs and even though we started the half well, we just got too complacent and their goal was just us being sloppy, and no idea what Ederson was doing, he needs to do better than that.
But fair play to him he made a couple of great stops when they were on top.

Anyway it was a time to breathe after last week and everyone was well up for it today and that result brings the focus back to the football now.

A huge game coming up on Wednesday, we can set the stage for the rest of the season if we win that!

COME ON CITY!!!...FUCK 'EM ALL!!!

Difficult to offer anything lately, if you don't get a game lately. Foden has 2 more goals than Mahrez in the league, Mahrez's goals when not playing well seems to count more than Foden's goals when he's not playing well it seems.

Agree. Much improved all around game.
His long passing has been terrible by his high standards though and we saw more of that today.
He gives away possession. He wasn’t on his own though. We went through a period in the second half where none of them could find a blue shirt.

We did wrestle back control however. Rode our luck but saw it through. Job done.

Great player, people don't see the good stuff he does because they don't show up in stats so much.
 
does anyone know what happend to the kids pulled by the old bill for having smoke bombs at the coach meet?
it looked like they were getting arrested?
