I can only assume Erling didnt take it as he still had is thigh/leg issue?

Fuck noI wanted Grealish to take that one yesterday if not Erling
He was good but not as good as Yaya. Mario scored 9/9 pens. Oh, and Yaya was still here 5 years after Mario left, so I'm right mate; )
Against spurs in lockdownI can only remember one and it just about managed to trickle over the line.
First of all he has misunderstood the process as it's not about City defending themselves. An independent commission will consider whether the premier leagues charges are proven, it's more akin to an arbitration process than a criminal trial.Neville needs to ease off Jack. It's nearly every time he's fouled now. Pisses me right off. If only commentators nowadays were fair and unbiased and didn't come with their own thinly veiled agendas.
Tyler saying give us a maximum of a month to prove our innocence. Does he fear the PL might unravel the longer it goes on? Let it take as long as it needs for us to clear our name "once & for all" & may a few heads roll in the process.
My gut feeling at the time was that they had 100% prepared for Erling to take a penalty if awarded in the game and to be fair to Martinez he has a reputation of saving a fair few.I can only assume Erling didnt take it as he still had is thigh/leg issue?
That is literally how I saw it, a strike of a penalty could have further aggrevated the injury he hadHaaland picked up a knock earlier on and rather than risk further aggravating the injury Gundogan pulled ranks and nominated Mahrez as the penalty taker just for that situation. Pep did sub Haaland at half time as precaution. As above tactically it made sense to switch takers (although risky with our record).
Me niether, he scored, we were already 2-0 up.Not entirely sure why everyone is getting so caught up about it
I suspect those that are arguing that Haaland didn’t take the penalty are the same fans that have Haaland to score 40+ league goals @ 250/1.That is literally how I saw it, a strike of a penalty could have further aggrevated the injury he had

Mahrez has his critics but he's redeemed himself enough to be given some slack i think.Me niether, he scored, we were already 2-0 up.
He isn't the most consistent penalty taker, but he shouldn't be got at when he scores one.

We did sub him at half time and didn't look like he could run it offWho knows? But if a player is that injured that literally kicking a football is likely to aggravate it, you have to wonder what the point of him even been on the pitch is?
If Haaland is injured who would want to take the penalty?Taking a penalty when your already 2 up is not the same as a last minute against high ranking opponents in the last minute to win the game.
Mahrez has often bottled the big ones - Liverpool away, West Ham away (good save) for example in what seem pivotal games.
As stated many times the players taking pens and the priority order should be nominated prior to kick off and only changed at the captains say so when having to manage an on pitch issue.
On Sunday the whole thing looked a bit unprofessional.
