Funnily enough, I've just been speaking to my dad about forest away and he told me a time he went and had to turn round when they got there because it got called off due to snow. Then went back midweek for the rearranged game and we got beat.

I think the driver heard on the radio it had been called off as there was no other method of communication then.

I went to the Crosby game, the little twat. On the bridge after the game in the city escort with everybody singing Monday's songs. Train back home to Chesterfield with some Forest fans we knew and this black City fan shouts up" any Forest fans on here are getting chucked off this train" they soon went very quiet. Turns out that this city fan made a habit out of getting on the wrong train, lol

You are correct, I was on a Bullocks coach, think we stopped near Stoney Middleton, game was postponed due to snow.

Only been once and can’t remember much about it , but I do remember Nicky Reid putting Stuart ‘Psycho’ Pierce on his arse . My brother who was at Poly in Nottingham, had managed to get himself a ticket in the home fans seats , he said the fans couldn’t believe their hard hero had been splatted by an unknown upstart .. Only visit to this place was the infamous Gary Crosby goal out of Dibbles hand. I thought we were unlucky that day and missed a few chances. I remember a little scrum outside after the final whistle near the river and a kind of tunnel. Old Bill on horses came from nowhere twatting everything I site.

Apparently Dibble didn't have control of the ball.....at the time the keeper 6 steps rule was in force.

Can never be proved but If Andy had run around trying to control the ball Courtney would have blown a lung whistling.

I was there just the once, way back in the late 70s/early 80s (?). From memory Tommy Caton (RIP) scored (direct from a free kick, possibly). We were in that new (at that time) stand opposite the TV camera position.

I've been to Meadow Lane twice. One was the FA Cup tie when we absolutely battered the buggers but their keeper(was it Cherry) played a blinder. I was sure we were going to Wembley that year :(

Yeah so was I, my first trip there was the 3-2 loss when we could have sealed promotion and it all kicked off.
