The issue here is that you wrongly assumed the horrible plan was Bernardo at LB because you don’t like it, even though if you think about it for more than a second, that obviously wasn’t what he was talking about because he’d done it before.


He did in fact talk about what the horrible plan was in the press conference yesterday - he had the wingers sit deep and defend inside.

The change he made was to have Mahrez and Grealish start pressing the Arsenal fullbacks.
