Shite draw.
Hearts v celtic.
Inverness v Kilmarnock.
Rangers v Raith.
Falkirk/Darvel v Ayr.
At least one semi final will feature a non Premier league club.

When was the last time the "Glasgow Giants" got drawn against each other in an early cup round?
Depends how you define early, but they were drawn together in the 4th round in season 20-21. I’m pretty sure there was a 3rd round tie once, but no idea how that was allowed to happen.

If you were including Partick in that question, then last weekend… ;-)

That's what I was thinking. I was trying to really last time they played each other in a 3/4 round.

Rangers v Plastic Whistle , the real Glasgow derby

Aren't Queens Park still one of the most successful clubs trophy wise in Scotland.
They were record holders of the Scottish cup until Celtic won it in 1925 for the 11th time.
Historically they were Celtic’s biggest enemies up until the outbreak of the First World War.

Another bad day for bottom clubs.
Dundee Utd,Killie,Ross County and Aberdeen get beat.
Motherwell v Hearts tomorrow.
Both old firm teams win.

Since their defeat in the Edinburgh derby, the league one, Hibs are unbeaten and have now taken 14 of 18 points. They next travel to Livingston before consecutive games against the Old Firm.

No doubt they will find a way to hibsed it.
It’s one of the peculiarities of that league that teams can go on quite good runs depending on when they’re slated to play the Old Firm. If the games are consecutive, then a team can then have nine more winnable matches, especially if certain fixtures fall at home, before hitting the Old Firm wall again. It’s often a case of sustaining that run and then getting back on the horse after the inevitable defeats.

Hibernian owner Ron Gordon has died at the age of 68 - less than a month after disclosing that he was receiving treatment for cancer.
RIP Ron.
