Like Pep has said, we had to be perfect, had we not it could have been very different
Must have pissed the dippers off no end. What a shame.

Definetly & I also believe had we not comeback against Villa they would have beaten Madrid in UCL final & all our nightmares would have come true.Must have pissed the dippers off no end. What a shame.
I suspect a certain story about certain therapeutic exemptions for certain poor misunderstood asthma sufferers might have been ripe for such an injunction on medical confidentiality groundsWe could get a local MP to discuss openly in House of Commons under Parliamentary Privilege.
If you had any information on anything like that, I`m sure someone at City would give you a Blow Job.
I know for a fact that a well-known journalist at one of the so-called 'quality' papers was handed a dossier showing incontrovertible evidence of corruption at PGMOL and wouldn't publish it.The idea that any journalist or editor would overlook proof of corruption in the Premier League - the biggest sport story in this country in 20 years - because the victim of said corruption was Manchester City is one of the many completely unbeleiveable aspects of this story.

They've all got their snouts in the trough and if you upset the apple cart the trough runs dry.
City are playing this one cool.Think its fair to say that the supposed VAR recording doesn't exist.
Emotions are high and trolls will take advantage of people who desperately want City to fight back and 'bring it all down.'
People need to accept the legal procedure will take a couple or so years and City will fight the charges as best as they can. I have every faith in the club defending themselves well and being cleared of the main allegations - but it will take a while.
Anything else of exposing widespread corruption and bringing pgmol and the pl down is purely fan fiction.

You can't think of any reason why they wouldn't have run the story? That would have been the biggest story of many year, possibly a journalists career and the journalist would be looking at awards for bringing light on to such a thing.
Afraid i find it very hard to believe any journalist would turn such a story down just because they may not like City.
It's called shooting your bolt. They literally have nothing else to run with until at least the panel members are announced (if they are).Who or what would/could have stopped all the hysteria in the press about the PL charges? It's gone incredibly quiet.
Nothing to do with not liking City. It was around 10 years ago for a start so well before the Pep era. I think it was just before we won the first PL title in 2012.That would have been the biggest story of many year, possibly a journalists career and the journalist would be looking at awards for bringing light on to such a thing.

So why not give it to foreign newspapers to break the story? it would be huge global news surely.I know for a fact that a well-known journalist at one of the so-called 'quality' papers was handed a dossier showing incontrovertible evidence of corruption at PGMOL and wouldn't publish it.

I don't know many who believe there is a huge conspiracy by all referees against City. This is an issue which affects lots of clubs and is probably driven by betting markets. I don't believe for one minute that everyone at PGMOL is corrupt but I am certain there have been individual instances of corruption. What Mark Halsey has said publically confirms that. Corruption exists in most facets of life in this country (and probably everywhere else). Where there is big money there is usually wrongdoing. Why should football be any different?I know there will be City fans who will believe in a huge conspiracy against us.
If a journalist/s had evidence of huge corruption at the PL, pgmol etc they would absolutely run with it. It would be the biggest football story this country has seen.
As it is these conspiracies are confined to fan football sites and twitter because no actual evidence exists.
Like the NYT…..now who does things like that ;)
If the evidence is inconvertrible why hasn't it appeared anywhere?
If it exists then the only reason must be that the 'owner's wants their own pay day/pay off.
Otherwise theres this thing called t'internet which might be handy.
