We drew away to a very decent side in the Champions League we didn't fucking lose to Rochdale like some of u make out.

They were fucking shocking in the first half which rightly changed City fan’s expectations.

They were built up as this great team on a long unbeaten run and I think most of us went into the game thinking a draw would be a good result.

Instead we got another pretty crap team that we clearly should be beating, exactly like Forest. People aren’t frustrated about this one result and you’re being deliberately obtuse to pretend so. We’re frustrated because we’ve seen this exact game a dozen times this season and nobody at the club seems to be very interested in improving things.

This team has fucking no chance of winning the CL playing like that.

It’s like we are actively trying not to score. We have the best striker in world football and yet we completely ignore him. Whatever you think of Grealish and Mahrez, they are fucking terrible wide men for Haaland. They don’t get to the byline, they don’t get crosses in and they don’t do anything 1st time. Next time anyone wants to moan about KDB…watch that game.

Pep is too pragmatic for that. He wants total control and I don’t think we will see the best of haaland unless that changes. Pep is a very defensive coach just not in the typical ‘park the bus’ way

I’d love to see it, I reckon we win most games about 5-2 with the quality we have. This timid, slow passing is all a bit frustrating to watch.

They also dominated at Bernabeu and were the superior team until the 80th minute. We were without KDB, Stones/Laporte too. Also drew against Bayern where they were superior by the way.

Don't be sorry. You're right. We have this insane bunch of players, and we allow them almost no freedom. No freedom. This is all coaching. Player performance goes up and down - but we have no intent, no desire to go beyond the last man, no desire to take a risk, if this wasn't some stupid cup competition then i'd say we have no hope, but we have got a chance, but there's no chance of us enjoying the ride - and not because we might lose - but because we'll be bored.

Oh here we go. You think that was a great performance? Decent result but we look so far off it. When they upped it in the 2nd half we were all over the place.

Oh here we go. We’re away in the CL against a team who are very good at home. They aren’t canon fodder. You have to face spells at this level where you’ll be under heavy pressure. That’s how elite football matches work. You don’t just pass the ball around for 90 minutes without them touching the ball. It was a solid performance overall with a good result and we’re in a great position to go through with our excellent CL home record.
