I don't have much of an opinion on Everton. I struggle to understand why they need a massive 60,000 stadium when they can't really fill Goodison but it's not really my business. It's like Sunderland, massive stadium, only half full.

Plus, it's likely if they carry on as they are, sooner or later their luck will run out and they'll find themselves with a massive stadium sat in the Championship.

Apologies to our toffe posters but...... I am in a bar near Caernarfon. There is a scouser talking about 'Billy'.
It seems Billy is a good lad and he's just bought a Ferrari. The bloke went on to tell everyone again what a good lad Billy was..... he follows Everton all over Europe.

No wonder he can afford a Ferrari!!

I don’t like the blue dippers but to say they can’t fill goodison is nonsense. It’s full every game. Their away following is good too.

Not true. Everton sell out 99% of games at home and have one if the best away followings in the country.

At least he’ll be saving on fuel costs!

Everton have a huge following and always have had. They also have a great opportunity with the new stadium to build themselves globally as the anti-Liverpool club. Being an alternative choice to MUFC has been a big motivator for new City fans. Our rivalry with the rags is good for us.
Everton have to stay up and they will easily fill their new stadium. This is a pivotal moment for them.

Don’t think season tickets have been readily available for a number of years.

I get the Sunderland point. Any time they're on the box, there's plenty of empty seats visible. Which is strange, given they're supposedly a huge club, in a one club town, with a large catchment area. But you don't see many empty seats at Goodison as a rule. Yes, it's a smaller ground than the SOL, but even so. There's lots of things we can have a go at Everton for (given events of the past few years). Their attendances isn't one of them.

I have worked in Sunderland and it isn't a big place. Nothing wrong with their attendance record either given their recent history. No criticism from me to either them or Everton on that front.
