Bournemouth (A) | Post Match Thread

We needed an easy weekend like that. I thought we were much better against Forest. It’s a funny old game.

I think we have shown a lot of positive things in the league over the past 4 or 5 games and I am hopeful that we can finish the season strongly.
 
As Longsight the man of reason and common sense said on the match thread before I was able to reply the score lines could have and should have been different in games we have dropped bar Brentford but even then we should have won a perhaps undeserved point courtesy of not doing the obvious and deliberately fouling them before the broke into our half.

We brought Mahrez on and could have also brought Bernardo and KDB on if we'd wanted. Plus Stones and Laporte being out. I think our bench is just fine.

Phillips and Gomez haven't had much of a chance. Perrone even less.

Far from perfect but encouraging.

The squad depth is a myth but at 4 up the changes were never going to lose us the points,so in respect of game time and rest it made sense.

MOTM was probably Ake for me,but Dias,Lewis and Gundo did great too.

Wonderful to see the goalscorers were those that probably needed it most,and there is a very strong argument that Haaland plays better with support from a second striker.I still dont like the back 3 thingy as its leaves us susceptible and im very much a solid foundation/dont fuck about type.

So something to build on......Overall a 7.5/10
 
It's all Bournemouth made mistakes and so the result is their fault for being shit.
Lol whatever sky.
Let's go on a run and put this Arsenal side under plenty of pressure and see what they've got in the bollocks department when we're breathing down their necks.
