Bournemouth (A) | Post Match Thread

After the recent games (Arsenal aside) that was nice. Hate it when we take out foot off the gas second half though. I don't like that mentality at all.

Good game. Happy with that and nice to see us banging them in. Happy days.
 
Pep looked like he enjoyed the fans reaction at the end!

Good performance.....notably looking to get the ball forward quicker/more postively which was good

Foden and Gundo were excellent as was Rodri..Haaland looked like he was moving better than in recent games as well and was more invovled

Alvarez looked good as well

Perrone lookde confident when he came on as well

Dont think Gomez or Phillips did their chances any good however.....

No need to try hard after blowing them out with 4 goal, safe the energy for the next match.
 
Proper finishing makes all the difference.....and playing the ball up to Haaland, think we look infinitely better when we actually use him properly.

Perrone showed a bit, there's definitely a player there.

Wouldn't mind seeing Alvarez, Haaland & Foden together more often, we look more dynamic with those three on the pitch.

We dropped off the last 25 mins but only because the game was won and we were seeing the game out.

In some ways it shows that the players coming off the bench aren't as good as we used to have. Obviously Gomez isn't good enough and Phillips doesn't have a lot of games under his belt in the last 12 months either.

Important to point out that Bournemouth had the best home defensive record in the league before this game. Now we have!

Have to agree, Phillips and Gomez look way way off the levels what we used to bring on from the bench
Will give Perrone a pass as it was his first game, he looked tidy enough but worryingly lightweight
Remember when we had five strikers?
