Shame for the lad as he seemed to be enjoying his spell there and playing well.
Hopefully it`s only a few months so he can get a decent run of games before the loan ends. Burns is nowhere near the level of Harwood-Bellis, I highly doubt he`d playThats fucking shite, you never want injury obviously but its a huge blow to both him and the club.
Return him here and send Burns in that direction?
Wish him a speedy recovery. Started every single game in the championship so far

Terrible luck for the lad, he was nailed on for Championship team of the season
Didn't realise he was injured. Must be doing okay considering how Burnley are doing.
We currently have 5 senior centre-backs, but quite possible that there will be changes in the summer as at least one may want to be a regular somewhere else. Where will Taylor be in the reckoning in the summer? Any chance he'll become centre-back number 5 for us?
A young player top of the Championship can obviously play a bit. It'd be a jump to play regularly for us, but he knows our style and setup.
Agreed. However, it might be in our interest to have someone like Harwood-Bellis or McAtee go out on loan and come back and be integrated into the first-team squad. It might show the other younger players that our loan deals are not one-way exits for those not given the Foden, Palmer, Lewis route. I know, I know, naive…No chance,he'll get an offer of regular football elsewhere (maybe stay with Vinnie) and at his age and current development he needs to take it.
Everton were keeping tabs, and there will be others.
Top player, technically very very average, but he reminds of someone like Conor Coady/Micheal Keane, but better
Bring him in ahead of Akanji for me, especially if Laporte is on his way out and stones is always injured and gvardiol staying at leipzig. He could just find his way into the 11
Gone in the summer, along with McAtee and Delap.
Smallish fee, cheapish buyback option and imagine McAtee will join THB at Burnley for a crack at the Prem.
Its absolutely for the best that he and the other kids get to go elsewhere while they are still very much progressing.
I think,at a minimum,we'll see the following depart
THB
Doyle x2
McAtee
Borges
Breckin
Delap
JWE
Rogers
Fiorini
Mbete?
