2 months would put him back in early March, probably another dozen Championship matches to play after that, plus potentially play offs.

We currently have 5 senior centre-backs, but quite possible that there will be changes in the summer as at least one may want to be a regular somewhere else. Where will Taylor be in the reckoning in the summer? Any chance he'll become centre-back number 5 for us?

A young player top of the Championship can obviously play a bit. It'd be a jump to play regularly for us, but he knows our style and setup.

If you look at his career to date, this is the first real physical setback he‘s faced; he‘s been pretty much a stick on starter wherever he’s been and played the full ninety in most games. A prolonged lay off will be a physical and psychological challenge, to be sure, but it’s part of football and I’m sure he’ll come back strong.

No chance,he'll get an offer of regular football elsewhere (maybe stay with Vinnie) and at his age and current development he needs to take it.

Agreed. However, it might be in our interest to have someone like Harwood-Bellis or McAtee go out on loan and come back and be integrated into the first-team squad. It might show the other younger players that our loan deals are not one-way exits for those not given the Foden, Palmer, Lewis route. I know, I know, naive…

His best attribute is probably his passing out from the back, and until he got injured he’d completed the second highest number of passes in the Championship. I’m not convinced you actually know anything about football to be honest.

It would be very disappointing to see Mcatee leave. Talent wise I think he’s right up there.

I think bellis will end up having a similar to career to trippier and probably end up playing for England. (Just a guess at the minute)
