Be careful with Roy Keane. At times Gary Neville seemed fair minded.

Yeah but that always seemed forced to me. Keane to me just says it as he sees it.

Like I said, it might be just coincidence on the times I’ve seen him and I don’t think he actually provides any decent insight (I don’t think any of the main pundits do), but he’s at least praising us for the right things.

Sky Sports is the yardstick. See if he is very impartial on that channel. Graeme Souness doesn't do many of our games and he was the most balanced.

I always switch off after the game before the post match on sky. I find sky sports analysis far more irritating than the main channels as they try to go in depth and are far more off the mark as a consequence.

That’s why I said it might be just the bits I listen to :)

Sports back page review in SSN, cricket, Rags back to work, Toney facing his betting charges, Rugby Union, Potter encouragement, not one mention of our game.
That’s not the case on the 11.30pm version of the programme I watched, it was discussed on that via a chat about Foden.

They had Burt and Ziegler on, looked at the back pages of around 6 publications and there wasn’t one headline or sun headline on the City game. I didn’t watch long enough to listen to them discussing non back page stories.

Would be interesting to see a table showing when, during the course of a game, keepers were booked for 'timewasting' I'm willing to bet that, with the exception of Ederson, they will all be in the 85+ mins bracket !!!
Following on from what @stoneblue has done
ie-
Martinez 5

88 v Man U won 3-1
90+2 v Leeds won 2-1
90+8 v Brighton won 2-1
84 v Arsenal lost 4-2 (booked at 2-2)
77 v Everton won 2-0

Pickford 5

81 v Brentford drew 1-1
90+6 Liverpool drew 0-0
90+5 Saints won 2-1
86 Arsenal won 1-0
87 Liverpool lost 2-0

I have shown Eddie's for info

Ederson

36 v Arsenal won 3-1
83 v Spurs lost 1-0

I did a bit of digging myself, so here goes...

Sanchez - BHA - 1 yellow card
Southampton 1-3 BHA
73mins - seems to be for dissent following a penalty being given to Southampton

Raya - Brentford - 1 yellow card
Brentford 2-0 Bournemouth
69mins

Mendy - Chelsea - 1 yellow card
Chelsea 2-2 Spurs
62mins

Guaita - Palace - 1 yellow card
Liverpool 1-1 Palace
90+1mins

Kepa - Chelsea - 1 yellow card
Chelsea 0-1 Southampton
87mins

Leno - Fulham - 2 yellow cards
Fulham 2-1 Chelsea
90+7mins

Leicester 0-1 Fulham
90+6mins

Messelier - Leeds - 2 yellow cards
Villa 2-1 Leeds
89mins - Bad Foul

Newcastle 0-0 Leeds
90+5mins

Henderson - Forest - 2 yellow cards
Forest 2-2 Brentford
45mins - Penalty/Dissent

Forest 1-0 WestHam
75mins

Pope - Newcastle - 3 yellow cards
Newcastle 1-0 Fulham
69mins - Penalty/Dissent

Newcastle 1-0 Chelsea
90+5mins

Spurs 1-2 Newcastle
84mins

Neto - Bournemouth - 3 yellow cards
Brentford 2-0 Bournemouth
69mins

Forest 2-3 Bournemouth
76mins - Bad Foul

Bournemouth 0-0 Wolves
67mins

Make of that what you will ;)

FA Cup Tie.

Pep gets asked about Utd's League Cup win pre match.
Phil Foden gets asked about Utd's League Cup win post match.

Media.
Obsessed.
I was livid with that question to Foden.
I really wish he had said something along the lines of
''Did they win it? I was out fishing with my lad - to be honest, United are an irrelevance in terms of how we prepare ourselves for games and set targets for each season. Now would you like to ask a question about tonight's game?''

PRE GAME
City are vulnerable, Bristol are unbeaten this year, Pep rotates heavily in the cup as he had a massssive 50 man squad. City’s defense isn’t solid like cup winners United.
POST GAME
How Can Bristol hope to compete when City bring on a 100m pound sub, who cost more than Bristol’s entire first team squad, more than the cost of their stadium and training ground and more than the original cost of the Clifton suspension bridge including Isambard kingdom Brunel’s consultancy fee

"Jack Grealish is coming on and until recently was the most expensive player ever in the Premier League".
Hmmm just an innocently stated fact or another dig at us on national tv

Didn't really understand the relevance of the question about a different team winning a different competition in a post match interview but Phil batted it away quite well. Probably showed more about the interviewers obsession than anything else.

I don't watch the post match nonsense as I don't need telling about what I've just seen.
