It really goes to show they have a test team and an ODI team, with Root, Brook and maybe Duckett to parachute in time. (Stokes has retired hasn't he from this form?????).

He’s retired from ODI’s (50 overs) but will play T20 for England and in the IPL and possibly the blast, depending when it is. All that being said, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see him change his mind, with the ODI World Cup later this year.I think he has retired from England games but will play in Indian league.
