Premier League Games 4/5/6 March '23

You’ll get no sympathy here pal. We’ve been on the end of more dodgy decisions over the years than a Russian referendum.

The premier league itself has tried to derail us even to the point of 115 charges!

You’ve shown your a good team but you’ve not shown you can handle the biggest moments yet. From what I’m seeing I think there’s more than a little nerves knocking about the emirates.
I’m not looking for any sympathy, it was just to point out how ridiculous it is to suggest we are being favoured and refs are doing everything possible to make sure we win. It simply isn’t true.

Your last line presumably means all officials are incompetent. I don't see how that can be true. All of them have huge experience and gone through rigouous testing to be where they are. They now have cameras to help them if they have doubts. They do know what they are doing. Was the referee who officiated in Arsenal v Bournemouth incompetent today?
The fact we had 4/5 decent penalty shouts today non of which were given (including at least 1 that I consider stonewall) then yes, the officials were incompetent today as well.

It’s either incompetence or it could be corruption, tbh I haven’t decided, but I just don’t think it’s a conspiracy (to make sure arsenal win).

So it’s not a conspiracy but could be corruption? Ffs

Lenient? I'm 100% convinced VAR instructed the ref to carry on playing after the end of extra time!
The Bournemouth player faked injury for a minute at the start of added time . Reg added it . If corner was cleared and launched up pitch ref would of blown whistle.

We shouldn’t be in a position we are waiting on a team to drop points but they will starting next week away at Fulham IMVHO

The wheels are coming off the Goon bandwagon , they have scraped wins against Villa & Bournemouth ,beaten by Everton , we deservedly beat them on their patch , the cracks are showing.
We have been there , done it and eat the T-shirt , their fans can come on here trying to gloat but they wont be around for long , their self entitled fans are insufferable , bro , fam and all the other shite they come out with. Would be OK to see Arteta , Zee and Jesus add to their collection but their best chance is beating the Rags to the europa league , we despite the Premier leagues wishes will grind out enough victories , it might not be as pretty or entertaining as we have been , but we have enough to get the 90 points required this season.

Not being controversial here but 97 minutes should be the norm, how many times have we seen the cnuts cheating, going down, keepers taking the absalute piss, throwing, feigning injuries all conspirated by the managers

Just look at Newcastle today, Pope took the piss untill we scored, Joelinton & Guameirez all taking the floor its about time these fucking officials showed intrest in the 1st 10 & not at us in the last 10 its Absalutely shit that teams get away with it

I go back to Everton before the World Cup 27 minutes not in play

So 7 minutes like it or not needs to be happening especially when 95% of the teams that come to City

So Bournemouth had the ball for 17 minutes out of the 90! In that time they scored 2 goals, should've scored earlier to go 2 up sooner tbh.

And we are led to believe they have wasted 8 minutes in the 17 minutes they had the ball, presumably Arse weren't wasting any time seems as they went behind after 10 seconds.

Fuckin BS again.

No problem with officials adding time on but it can't be selective and only when certain teams need it.

If Arse had've turned the result around in normal time then no way would that much time have been added on at the end.

Also, by this reckoning then we should still be playing our home game v Everton because they wasted virtually all of the 90 minutes and the time that was added on at the end to!

Far too many inconsistencies in the PL and it's making a mockery of the competition.

Becareful what you wish for, we had 8 mins added on v Brentford it was 1-1 , i thought great we could get a winner here, only it wasnt us that got it 97 mins it was, wished it was only 3-4 mins, at least we would have been a point better off, could be important. Hope not, i still think we will win the league.

What a f****** plank I am, I deserve worse, although in mitigation I can’t legislate for goals in extra extra time

The 7 added minutes obviously came from other things than Bournemouth wasting time. VAR checks for instance.
A normal game will easily have 2 or 3 minutes per half, at minimum, where the game has come to a stop. If you then add Bournemouth's very, shall we say, relaxed pace when taking goal kicks, it makes perfect sense 7 minutes were added at the end.

We aren’t talking about brentford, I can only point out things that demonstrate we (arsenal) aren’t being favoured like some people are suggesting here.
You wont get any favours here after your shameful stationary cupboard letter writing exercise with the other hateful gang members. Used to like your club over the other Landaan clubs, not anymore. That and whiny Wenger!

I suggest the ref in your game knew what he was doing. But it can be subjective according to the bias one has. Was he corrupt? One can only look at evidence in the game itself. When you are a City supporter you see refs operating under two standards.
“What we have done these four or five years and all we have achieved is because of Manchester City. Everything we did, we did it for ourselves" Pep Guardiola in 2018 and last season.
In other words no favours expected or given. But other teams do seem to get favours.
Pep Guardiola last week accused referees of double standards, saying Ederson was carded for time-wasting during City’s win at Arsenal but the “thousand million teams” that do the same at the Etihad Stadium have no action taken against them. That is a fact.

a lot of added time yesterday in the Arsenal game (and a lot of it in 4 games since 4th Feb : H Bournemouth 7 mins, @ Villa 9 mins, H Brentford 8 mins, @ Everton 6 mins.

So, in that sense, using hyperbole, not a few of us do think anyone except City has to win, because of the anti city bias - there doesn't appear to be an objective level playing field in this league. That's why we say we will do it ourselves without favours.
All anyone asks from the referees is basic equity or fairness across the board towards all twenty teams.

Today first game notnarsednbitnexpect itnto be worth a watch.

as for the other one, come on liverpool , stuff the filthy rag twats

If it’s corrupt then it cannot be anything but a conspiracy.
