Conte probably already lost the players, maybe after that public rant. Shite mentality in their squad all around and Levy continues to feed it. Imagine back then when Pep said that it wasn't his team playing and our players subsequently told him to fuck off.

Managerial graveyard at Spurs. Rubbish squad letting down proven winners, backed by a clueless owner. If Nagelsmann had any sense or at least been paying attention, he'd steer well clear.

What a fucking crap club. Maybe if levy stopped trying to get city screwed off the field and actually ran the club properly they would have won something by now. Rather eat the crumbs left by united and Liverpool.

If any owners are taking the piss out of its supporters it’s spurs!

Leicester have won a title.
City have won a title.
Arsenal have a great chance this season.

Spurs? Well they can claim the I beat city award while calling up masters to bring charges. Turn it into a hotel.

Absolutely. Jokes aside, if I was a Spud I'd be a bit pissed off how they consistently turn up against City and then go 'all Spursy' for the rest of the season. Their performance against Arsenal back in Jan/Feb(?) was appalling.

I think Poch left after a row about non spending, yet he is reportedly considering going back there.
 
I have said this before but Levy only has himself to blame. First Mourinho, then Conte? Did he seriously think either of them would play open, expansive football? Creative and nice to watch, Like Pep's teams? Of course he didn't. He knew full well the pair of them were ill-suited to the job but he still went and appointed them both anyway.

Fans pay good money to watch their teams play football. They don't want to pay that money to have to watch their team pack the defence and hoof the ball upfield every now and again. And I don't for one second imagine that the players themselves would enjoy being told to play that way for 90-odd minutes. They would want to go forward, take on their man, create chances, not just stand at almost touching distance to their own goalkeeper.

Levy can moan and whinge all he likes (especially about us!) but he will not win over the fans by employing surly, morose fuckers like the two mentioned above so they can churn out the dull, unimaginative drivel you see in the local park on a Sunday.

I have never heard Levy talk about how he wants to play football but I reckon he wanted Conte and Jose just to come in and park the bus all the way to a Carabao or FA Cup to get that cloud off his head.

I have no sympathy for the fans, stop showing up and buying merchandise if you have a problem with the team. Its very simple.
 
Much of the press/media coverage of Spurs today seems to revolve around whether the responsibility for the club's years without a trophy lies mainly with Conte or Levy. Since this is the first club Conte has failed to win a title with and since levy has been at Spurs since 2001 and managed one trophy that would seem to point in one direction! But Spurs have not managed a league title since 1961! An F A cup since 1991 (or even a final!) The did win the League cup in 2008 for Levy, but have been beaten in 4 finals during his tenure. Since 1961 Spurs have won 5 FA cups and 4 League cups, of which 8 of these pre-date Levy; in other words they could expect no league titles but 1 knock out cup every 5 years post war but pre-Levy but post-Levy there average can't be worked out! Overall, though their record is not inspiring though in cup competitions it is certainly more than adequate - until Levy's arrival. Since they won the League in 1961 13 other teams have won it and though 10 of these are currently in the PL, 3 are not and of the 13 8 have suffered at least one relegation and some rather more. Spurs have been one of those clubs that have proved successful at surviving and even winning cups but have never really troubled the top of the table even during the big spending of the Venables years. Their last manager two win two different trophies was Bill Nicholson, manager from 1958-74! Since then they have had 23 managers, 16 of whom have lasted 2 seasons or fewer! Only 3 have won anything. Levy has been "in charge" for roughly a third of the period covered (62 yeas, so a fair sample). So, who is to blame? Levy? Conte? Someone or something else?
 
No ambition other than the Premier league money and increasing the value of the club to sell on later. They have as much interest in football as the Glazers. We're so lucky our owners want the glory as well as the money.
