Olivia’s killer guilty - Minimum of 42 years

I understand the Merseyside mentality. The family will be frozen out and unable to show their collective faces anywhere.

Even some of the most disgusting cunts imaginable know a line was crossed with the murder of a 9 year old. Had he murdered the intended target then he’d never have been found.

The Merseyside mentality closed ranks and kept quiet until his girlfriend smelt the reward money.

Being frozen out is hypocrisy when they knew all along.

All this honour amongst thieves, code of conduct bollocks.

They are disgusting cunts too as you say.

Hope the reward money was a decent wedge. Anyone know how much?

I’ve no idea but whatever it is, and whatever her primary motivation was, it won’t compensate her for how she’ll be living the rest of her life.

Every time any stranger catches her eye for the rest of her life, her first thought will be… Is this it?

They didn’t. His name was given numerous times like it was for Sean Mercer.

No amount of money will make her feel safe for the rest of her life. I hope she’s been relocated with a new identity.

That's bollocks, she came forward after 2 days, there was no reward on offer at the time.

Just change or make a new law. If you refuse to attend your sentence is automatically doubled with no reduction for good behaviour and no parole.
Like it. And if caught with drugs or a mobile in prison your sentence that you were given irrespective of what has been served is doubled automatically and the person who supplied the drugs or phone will also serve the same prison sentence. So if you are given 10 years, served two and then caught with something you are given 20 years less the two already served so you and the supplier will both do 18 years.

Where are the many thousands of extra prison cells coming from, you’re going to need before this comes in?

Mental post on every possible level.

Also going to bring back capital punishment for certain crimes which will help reduce the number of prisoners which in turn will reduce the number of people being visited. Basically I want to rid society of the scum that I have to share oxygen with, it's not an easy or a quick solution but as a country we need radical reform of the judicial system as well as most other things.

I’d certainly agree we need radical reform. Probably where our agreement ends. But that’s probably for another day/ thread.

I think many prisoners are habitual offenders, so you'll find it's the same hard core going in and out all the time. The killer in this case is a perfect example, continually committing crime until eventually he killed somebody.

Well there’s numerous reasons why it’s a silly idea. But as I said to the other guy, this probably isn’t the appropriate thread for a big prison reform debate.

Is the death penalty a deterrent? I’d much sooner they suffered for the rest of their lives. I know a couple of people who’ve done time for minor misdemeanours and it haunted them.

Derek Bentley was hanged for murder and none of his close family lived to finally see him pardoned.

I’m not in favour of the death penalty but someone who has 18 convictions like this lowlife just shouldn’t be on the streets for me. It is ridiculous the number of chances some people get.

Exactly she will be living in some shit hole like Grimbsy with 50k The way country lines work she will soon be found.

Cannot imagine a strong minded Scouse woman fading into the background, wherever you relocate her ?
Hopefully, she (and her family) do not get any repercussions...
