Having a pure rodri back up in phillips is a waste because he cant play elsewhere so sits on the bench because every game is must win.

Can bellingham be a 6/8 rotator?
Is mac allister better placed?
Can rice do it?

Whoever we sign needs to be able to do both.

Then if bernardo leaves we also need a wing/8 rotator which feels like foden now grealish is improving his goal involvement.

So then you replace bernardo with a winger/striker

Huge transfer iterations this summer depending on who leaves

How about we swap Phillips for McTominay? He's united's best player, runs a lot (especially into people) and what is he, 17?

I’m assuming the rag links are just to delay (wrong word choice admittedly) the inevitable and to make it seem like there’s still a race.

Not sure you can ‘enter’ a race so late in the day.

Rabiot, Laimer and Tielemans all available on 'free' transfers. Hope they don't get either of the latter two, thankfully Laimer looks likely to follow Bundesliga tradition and join Bayern on a free as he'd be perfect for them.

Yeah he's basically a more dynamic Thiago with added goals and the ability to stay fit for extended periods. Would rather see him go elsewhere and wouldn't mind him here if Silky goes and he can accept being rotated.
Mount is very overrated and will cost a lot, hope they go down that road.
