Bayern Munich (A) | Post Match Thread

4 premier leagues in 5 years.
4 carabao cups in a row
1 fa cup
3 ucl semis in the past 3 years.
1 ucl final
Still in the facup, ucl & fighting for the league.
A historic quadruple.

These fucking cunts on bt can stop talking about how we "look ready". We've been ready for years.

Hairy hands Keys on Bein Sports was saying that he thinks Pep is a failure because he’s not won the CL. Even Andy Gray was pissing himself laughing at that.

Then I turned on Bayern TV to see a documentary about the history of BM and how they are European kings of old. Or something.

Greta result!

Fuck Tommy Tickle. The blokes a fucking prick. Jumping up and down like a fucking demented court jester all game long. Doing his fruit because we were correctly awarded a throw in.
You got fucking battered over two legs, you fucking nonce.
That my friend is a proper rant. Had me cracking up reading that.

makes you wonder why dias was on the outer for a while early in the season...couldnt me pep could it..making him (and others as fresh as can be going into the business end??? maybe not,but interesting to know why

Tbh most of the comments on the football itself (not the ref etc), Pep would probably agree with. He said himself afterwards that this was not a 4-1 tie, that he doesn’t feel better than Bayern just because we went through, that the champions league is always a “coin toss” and last year we lost the coin toss, this year we won it (so far). Tuchel’s tone/attitude I hate, but some of the points aren’t exactly false. It was fine margins and they probably did enough for about 4 goals over the 2 legs. But that’s what this competition is all about - moments. And in the big moments, we were there. It was in general a very closely contested tie but we were very solid and good in both boxes, particularly at home.
We were, as you say, good in both boxes and that is Bayern’s weakness. Very good in transition, quick and skilful, but relatively poor in both boxes. They need a better CB than Meccano and a better CF than Eric C-M.

You can see why they would want Harry Kane.

He had a hamstring injury.

He started 14 of the first 17 Prem and CL games from the beginning of the season. Then got a hamstring injury at the World Cup and wasn’t available for 7 games and then wasn’t ready to start for another 5.

Then he started at Arsenal away and has played every minute of each Prem and CL game since.

Not the best performance, but the smart performance. If would be totally different game if Sane have scored.
Amazing game from Silva and Rodri. I like that Spainh a lot, what is he doing in the middle and how he offers a solution to our players, that's amazing,

I posted this in Ref Watch, but am I the only one that is convinced that Tuchel was trying to get sent off pretty much the entire match?

I reckon he wanted it to happen in the first half, probably hoping it would put his team in to siege mode, and also help him avoid rightful criticism of his managerial performance since taking over (because PASSION!).

Absolute Klopp shithouse tactic.

I actually commend the ref for not giving him what he wanted until it didn’t matter any more.
Yes, felt the same. Tactics Tom knew he had no chance.
