These comments from Kahn will surely ease their dressing room tensions.

It came off Akanji's foot onto his arm.
I thought that but my eyes arn't too good. But what I said stands, by the letter of the law, if the hand/ arm are in an unnatural position it's handball. That's all they seem to mention. The rule is bad. Even Glenda got it right last night. They're ruining our game.

Well, I don't know, am I alone in finding the supposedly “fabulous” German support monotonous and uninspiring, in that it has nothing whatsoever to do with what's happening on the pitch? Uninspiring if I were a Bayern player, of course.
And that bleeding drum!

Real Madrid do not have a superior attack. They are actually easier to prepare for because they do not have as much pace and we know exactly how they will line up. We will beat them easily with Erling

I'd say we've just knocked out the best side remaining in the competition at the quarter-final stage, by a clear margin. I emphatically do not think Real are as good as Bayern, although of course they've got players who can hurt you.
In my view, it is also to our advantage that we play the away leg first.

Our fixtures are relentless up until and beyong the Real fixtures. Needs some good luck with injuries and managing recovery time. Hate the cliche, but need to take it one game at a time.

I think City went through quite simply because we are a better, and certainly a more complete, side than Bayern. Last night we would have had to have messed up massively not to have gone through to the semis. Bayern's problem had been not having a centre forward, or anyone who seemed capable of putting the ball in the net, and they had central defenders who were shaky in the extreme and quite incapable of coping with our forwards, especially in pressing mode. Last night was the same. Their pace out wide caused us problems for sure but the final ball was either not good enough or it was dealt with by our defence. Bayern have had trouble scoring goals recently and we saw why: lots of possession, a number of shots, few real chances ... and no goals. In 180 + 10 mins of football no goals from open play and one only from a very dodgy penalty. I won't say it was easy or even comfortable but we were never going to lose and it was no surprise when we took the lead. Bayern did not lose because of a Bayern-must-not-be-allowed-to-lose-in-Munich penalty.

Our penalty was a joke too, to be fair.

First of all, those penalties last night were an absolute disgrace. They sum up everything that is wrong in this competition - the fact either was given opens it up to accusations of corruption. It's a shocking advert for the game when they are given and to be honest, I was amazed there wasn't more shooting at arms to be honest as the ref was appalling.

As for the game, we were superb. Bayern had nothing to lose - they had to go for it and they did do and give us a real test. Make no mistake, they are a very good side with a very good manager. If we didn't win it, they would've done.

I honestly think we will win it this year - I think we will actually do the treble. The difference between other years and this year is we have the best player on the planet in Haaland. Over the 2 legs he got 2, set 1 up. That's literally the kind of thing Messi did - both teams were the same apart from one has Messi in. He made their defenders look average at best. He will win the Ballon D'Or without question. I honestly think that the best strikers I've seen in England so far have been Shearer, van Nistelrooy, Henry and Aguero. And none of them are a patch on Haaland. That's some statement considering he's only been here 8 months.

As for the rest of the team, they were all just superb. Grealish is becoming some player with cool swagger and just never loses the ball. Rodri is incredible, never misplacing a pass and making the game look too easy. Silva never stopped running, same with KdB. As for the defence, there's nothing more to say - Dias, Ake and Akanji (and Stones) have been the reason we're in this position. Their football intelligence is incredible and Pep deserves HUGE amounts of credit for this new system. Who else would come up with a 3-2-4-1 which is rock solid in defence and scores for fun?

The Real game will be an absolute cracker but honestly, I think we're going all the way this year. We've found a system that doesn't give the opposition much time to figure out and it brings out the best in our squad. We've got players like Haaland, Grealish, Silva, KdB, Dias, Ake and Rodri on fire and I am starting to think this might be out best ever team.

COME ON CITY!!

You are Right, Ake was our best defender the whole season, but yesterday he was very poor. Hopefully he will be fit soon.
