Both wonderful players with different skills, i just think KDB is the best in the world, David was never quite that.

He wasn't, but as long as I'm alive I don't think I'll watch another City Player who's given me as much joy. He's my ever favourite player to have worn our shirt.

Yes, I'd agree with that, I'd say Dave was more consistent, rarely less than a 7/10, often an 8. Kev tends to be more spectacular, can be anywhere from a 4 to a 10 and has been each of those a few times this season.

That’s my feeling as well. On his day Kev is probably the best but he can vary dramatically. David was consistently very good.

Was talking about this last night I’ve always said for me the greatest ever City player was David Silva but now I think Kevin has surpassed him this guy is on a completely different level.

Not only was Silva an absolute joy to watch (did anyone EVER get the ball off him?) he just ran the midfield consistently like no-one else. KDB by contrast is more of a risk taker, trying things that lose us possession more and he does run more hot and cold. But his risk taking, wins us games.

But overall, for his consistency over many years, for me David edges it.
