Season Tickets - 2023/24

Or British Gas or Eon,may as well drag every **** in it
Of course it boils down to FFP

Wages in the private sector are up over 6% YOY

Food costs are up over 15% YOY

the club are being scrutinised over third party sponsorship so unfortunately the fans have to bear the brunt of this cost increase

without FFP we wouldn’t have seen any increase this or any year since it’s inception

*a bit tongue in cheek*

I’ll pay the extra whatever it might be IF the club promise me they will not sign either Kane or Bellingham. That sounds fair enough to me.

I am lucky enough to be able to afford the increase but only because I spend nothing else on the matches apart from the price of the ticket. I have a concession pass for the tram….that costs me £10 per yr only. I rarely buy food or drink in the ground. Plus I’ve never smoked and rarely have an alcoholic drink. So I can afford the increase.m

However I do think that folk have a legitimate right to complain as this is a forum and debate is the reason for it surely.

I’m sorry if that sounds a bit I’m all right Jack I don’t mean it to. There were quite a few years when I was raising my kids when I couldn’t afford a match never mind a season card so I am making up for those days. :-)

This time of year will always split opinions, but there is part of me thinks it's a bit of a heavy increase, then I think of the football, then I think of how much our owner has got, then I think how much he's invested, then I think of what the club makes these days financially.........................but plain and simply put, either go or don't I suppose

The club have fucked the fans royally today, not once but twice. While I don’t think we should allow ourselves to be walked over, it’s probably not the best time to bring negative energy into the ground. I’m not sure Pep would appreciate it when right now we’re all pulling in the same direction, hopefully towards a historic treble. Like I say we need to make our feelings heard but I’m not sure of the best way to get our message across right now without being disruptive to the team.

With the disregard the club has shown to fan groups lobbying for a true home end in the new NS, and ignoring City Matters representations on SC pricing.

Is there anyone the club actually listens to?

Not true if you pick your games.
And if you don't?

We have loads of fans that want to attend significant numbers of away games both at home and abroad. Unless you're in the know or a supporters' club, this is virtually impossible if you are not a platinum season card holder.

For the entertainment it gives me and the quality of experience we are enjoying o think it’s great value. I honestly do. People getting 19 games for £500 in some instances and moaning? Under £30 quid a game???
It’s not all entertainment though is it!
As an example take the Everton game this season where the ball was only in play for half of the 90 minutes

Going back to your its only £35, this isn’t correct
It‘s a £35 rise on top of last season’s £35 rise, so that’s £105 total In two seasons and this has happened for 12 of the last 13 years

We know deep down what the plan is. Legacy fans in the ends, tourists paying premium prices in East and CB stands
In the area my SC is, we were discussing this on Wednesday. How many half and half scarfs there were
My old SC seat was up on L2, then it went padded. There was a thread on here about L2 is being turned corporate, which was picked up on by the club, and within a week a letter was sent to supporters saying. this wasn’t true. Well the Club lied

I find it absolutely disgusting that the club can treat loyal supporters this way. We were the people keeping the fucking lights on in the hard times and that gave Sheikh Mansour something to buy and invest in. Of course I’m grateful for what he’s done and the pleasure it’s given me, but his executives are testing my loyalty. Not that they’re arsed as I’m exactly the sort of person they don’t want in East 104
They’ re after a tourist who’ll pay £70 for a ticket and £100 in the shop.
ultimately the plan is to turn us into a football Disneyland

No mention of downgrade here and states the one season

The thing is these Silvers were initially only meant to be offered to existing Season Ticket Holders and I imagine the numbers downgrading to it from Gold were relatively small. They were probably surprised at how many Season Ticket Holders who opted out after Covid wanted to return and they'd took on too many new ones in the meantime.

They'd always advertised the Cityzens Membership's main perk as the way of getting on the Season Ticket 'Waiting List' so they had to do something last year and therefore released a small number of these. Interestingly they've removed all the information with regards to the waiting list on the membership benefits now so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't release any new season tickets of any description this year.

Get moaning mate. Clearly underhanded behaviour from the club.

If you feel strongly enough, why not start a campaign to get everyone to do it in protest ? Perhaps 1894 could drive this ?

I fucked it off years ago, because I saw it was complete con to take your money.
We haven’t got the fanbase to do that.

Our fanbase is win and trophy passive.
