Wrexham thread

Allwch chi ddweud y ffordd wrtha i wrth Moelfre.

Memories. We went Moelfre nearly every year when I was little. Waking up in the middle of the night and running to the lifeboat station to watch the launch. Happy days.

We used to go regularly to a caravan overlooking the bay where the Royal Charter went down in 1859. Short walk from there along the coast to the lifeboat station.

Love Anglesey. The firm I worked for had a factory in Amlwch, my son used to visit Wylfa as part of the decommissioning team, spent several summers as a youngster at Moelfre caravaning, even cycled to Benllech with two pals after my GCE exams.

Great memories.

I managed to get a ticket from a friend of a friend in the Wrexham end when we played there in 1998 & judging from some of the comments aimed at our fans at the other end of the ground they didnt seem particularly keen on English people,
Needles to say I managed to keep my head down most of the time but did give out a little yelp disguised as a cough when we scored the winner!

Not Consuelo? Family stayed in a caravan there before I was born, and I remember we used to play on the stony beach there making a dam across a little brook that ran to the sea on one of our many walks to Lligwy.

Christ. It's like the Waltons on here sometimes. And I don't mean the Peter Waltons.

The very place, though it was far more rudimentary back when I used to go.

Good night, grandpa.

I was looking forward to possibly owning a Wrexham shirt this season now they have got rid of Tik Tok as sponsors.

Well....maybe not....

They must be starting direct flights from US East Coast into Wrexham International Airport.
Joking aside though, I used to fly Newark into Manchester all the time before Covid, now Un*ted only go into Heathrow. If anyone Stateside is thinking they want to fly to see a game at the Racecourse, they’d be wise to restart the Manchester route.
