If I started a twitter feed called @SirPeaceFrogMedia and spewed randomly generated rumors would you demand half the revenue?
too fucking right :)

ive only ever been itk twice :), first one was cancelo signing(very proud of that one) i even got pics sent to me, and this bellingham one, now im not saying hes definitely signing ,all im saying is he flew into manchester and was picked up by city.

This is all leading to Madrid won't pay 150 mil, City will Judes dream is madrid and Liverpool but both clubs won't pay the fee, Jude wants to leave Dortmund and City is the only club that will pay the fee,Article so both Liverpool and Madrid say they couldn't get him due to Dortmund and the high fee.

Presume he flew in to personally tell us he doesn't like where our money comes from. Nice lad making the effort rather than just getting his agent to tell us to do one when we first made contact.

I'm beginning to think that Tweet may not be a direct quote!

It does have a slight whiff of that, doesn't it

And salary, don't forget only we have to pay a salary. Every other player in Europe pays subs to play for the big clubs.

Doubt we will sit on the sidelines and wait for that scenario to play out. Far too risky.

Agreed to a degree. If Real can cement the:

"Bellingham only wants Real, but Dortmund demand unrealistic fee"

This then paints Dortmund as holding Bellingham against his will.

If I'm correct, in 12 months time Bellingham will only have 12 months left on his contract. Sound familiar? Real did similar with Mbappé, but it blew up in their face when PSG threw £210m at him to extend his contract.

All the noises point to this going Real's way, but agreeing the fee will be the stumbling block. Also, does Bellingham want to leave this summer, or will he hold on to next summer when the price will have to come down?

If the transfer falls through because of the fee with Bellingham unwilling to wait 12 months for the fee to be reduced, will City want Real's sloppy seconds of a player who turned us down, but returned because we were the next best option on the table?

the issue i have with it all. is a lot of this is coming from the spanish media who have even back tracked on it themselves.

dortmund manager right theyve had all different media saying it ect. weve had this stuff with haaland, and mbappe. i dont think well know what the truth is until he actually moves.

i do find it odd that we havent come out and distances ourselves or linked to other players since the news

That City_Zone Twitter account doesn't seem very reliable, so I'd take anything they say with a pinch of salt.

This. I never got the need for aggregators. Hell, it's the easiest thing to do to get a feed of sources you consider reliable. Who needs all this shit?

And don't forget that we pay our salaries directly from the secret accounts of the bank of human rights abusers, set up solely to supress the republican fighters of the hateful 8, tebas-madridica, misery-poollica, munchen-sausagica, arsemania, and the rest of the asset stripping red yankee doodle dandies.

Agreed. However sorting the wheat from the chaff, it seems to me that an agreement's been made with Bellingham, but Real don't wanna pay the fee, hence trying to force Dortmund's hand with "Bellingham only wants Real".

If Bellingham says he's willing to wait until next summer when the fee will be lower, or the following season where he can move for free, it applies pressure on Dortmund.

This can only work if an auction is totally negated by the "Bellingham only wants Real" narrative. I suppose we'll all find out soon enough.

Regardless, I assume City will have alternatives identified, & albeit many of us will be gutted if we don't get Bellingham, he's not the only decent midfielder in the world...
