Any idea why pep didn’t make a sub? Last time we played real they did the exact same thing. Started with Kroos and modric then brought on the youngsters to run at tired legs.

He made subs against Madrid last year a few minutes from the end, including Debruyne
Madrid scored the 2 late goals and then extra time.
I just think he ws happy to see the match out.
I'd have preferred a few subs myself though.

He was fucking shite, Carvajal already done the damage in the first half and set the tone for kicking fuck out of us, Rodri’s fouls were later on, gave advantage for a free kick on the edge of the area and constantly got in the way for both teams.

If he's happy with the performance, he's happy with the result, and his team are doing what he asked them to do he'd prefer to leave the eleven on the pitch than change it.

I agree, it’s a monumental effort to be challenging at this stage on three fronts.

The lads didn’t lose and you can’t ask for more than that in any game.

Thought those last 5 minutes plus injury time felt big.

When you knew if they scored 2-1 would not been an awful result by any stretch, but wouldn’t have been a frustrating result.

I would have spent the next 8 days thinking I’d have felt much more confident if we had not conceded at the end.
