If we’re letting him go we must be close to signing a replacement - having said that we don’t always operate in that way

Midfield is our bread and butter though, don’t think they’d have the same chill with that position like they had with LB..

I know he’s gonna leave, but it’s still absolutely gutting to see that, especially when we still have all these important games left this season.
He’s world class in our system. I think that Barca pitch will look very big to him when he plays there.

Honestly I would rather not get Bellingham. I know journalists aren't the players themselves but referring to City as a plastic club is an insult. I don't want to see him anywhere near my club if that's his stance.

Are you 14?

It's all bullshit. All you've done is boost the engagement numbers of that account by sharing it.

I do see it.

Like you,i was previously convinced his ability was limited to the above.....a decent defensive midfielder with limited technical ability.Having watched him much more closely over the past few games,i have changed my opinion completely.

He has superb all round ability, probably, due to his athleticism, more of a complete midfield general than Rodri (not specialist Defensive though) and more adaptable when it comes to squad versatility.I genuinely think they could play in the same pivot or trio, and few,if any, midfielders would be stronger.

100m is mental money, but looking at rumoured prices for players like Toney......we are now in that territory.

I think this line up would be superb

Walker----Stones--Dias----Ake
------------Rice--Rodri-------------
-----Foden-----Kev---Grealish---
--------------Haaland-------
I like his long range passing...just unsure of his technical ability between the lines snd in small spaces as that's what we're losing in both Gundo and Bernie. He has the engine like you say.
Interesting question...all bias aside who would you rather have in their prime in thus team....prime David Silva or prime Gerrard.....for me it's David Silva as I always have a preference to that type of player...I see rice as more akin to a Gerrard style of player....( better defensively than gerrard)

Give it up you fucking whalloper!

If we sign Gvardiol can Stones not give Rodri a rest at times?
Dont see Stones doing the Rodri role on his own......alongside Rdori as he slips into midfield from where every he is playing (FB or CH) but not as a lone 6 like Rodri can at times - maybe he could with more work but not at present.

I'm switching camps. It's not bullshit. He's chosen Madrid. His father hates City and wants to insult us in the process. We'll just have to do our talking on the pitch, simple as...

Definitely Silva, but he wouldn't have the same impact without the industry and physicality of a Gerrard/Rice.

We need the chemistry.
