We lost at home to Brentford and drew against Everton.

We even drew at Forest after taking the lead.

Your table doesn't reflect it was always a two point gap, factoring in the game in hand and Arsenal coming to us.

Bad results come at all times.

Arsenal haven't bottled it, they have performed well above expectations.

OK but after that table, they have won 2 of their last 7. That's very poor form, not just the odd bad result.

We piled the pressure on and they shit the bed.

Arsenal have done well. They are/were a good team. They didn't bottle it (imho) they just weren't good enough for long enough.
It's a wake up call for them, for how far they have to go in playing standards and personnel. It will be harder next year as they have more tougher games in the champions league and cups.
Credit to them - but they have someway to go.

Now who can we sell them...
Spot on. Even though they’ll probably strengthen in the summer they’ll have Champions League football to contend with next season. I think they’ve missed the best chance to win it this season.

Well they're after Cancelo ...

And I'd happily throw in Sergio Gomez as well.

And Lee Bradbury.

Not good enough

I think even an eternal pessimist like me can admit it’s over. Statistically if not mathematically.

Arsenal gave us a better fight than I expected but the second half of the season was really not good enough. Shows you how hard it is to keep going and winning week after week. Make no mistake our boys are freakish, like a juggernaut.
You mean like a freakish juggernaut?

A special thanks to the corrupt Premier League for pulling 115 charges out of their arse just when the team needed it.
hahaha absolutely!

Also thanks to the media for disrespecting us season after season.

It's always us who have tricky games and are going to slip up and lose games, it was never the dippers or the arse this season.

These people are stupid, surely they know by now that stuff like that just adds more fuel to the fire and gives us extra motivation.
I laugh now but it still pisses me off, so i'm pretty sure Pep hears it and uses it.

They won at Newcastle and that was a big pressure fixture.

We apply pressure over months, not just weeks.

Their biggest bottle was simply Southampton at home.

That killed them.

Arsenal had a chance this year. They were not up to it and will not win the title with this team. They need a significant injection of quality.

I think Arsenal have had a great season and if their mentality is right it's a valuable experience that should help them continue to get stronger.

Looks like it's slipped away from them now, but they've come very close to winning the league. If we were in their position I'd be pissed off to come away with nothing, but given a little time to think about it I'd be very encouraged by what the team's shown this season.

The test for Arteta is to tweak the fine margins but more importantly to energise that squad to come back stronger next season. The effort of one good year is nothing compared to the effort of competing every year.

Pep has the PERFECT angle to get the players over the line on Sunday. It’s more than winning the league, it’s our only chance to win the league infront of our fans. You can bet your life that Pep will be telling them they have to win it v Chelsea.

Hoping for a draw between Forest and Arsenal. It takes away the slight anti climax of officially winning the league while you’re at work or sat at home. Miles more fun being at a game and getting a result to win it.

I’m not sure we do. If it’s confirmed on Saturday as a result of the Arsenal game then yes but if we need to beat Chelsea to clinch it, I have a feeling it may not happen until Brentford. Something tells me it has to confirmed at the start of the day for a team to get the trophy before the last day of the season.
I’d love it if I’m wrong about that.
You are quite correct, you are wrong about that.

Crazy thing is we’d of won the league already if they never won that game, with 3 games to spare! forget Arsenal we’ve been that good
