Champions League Final | Istanbul Travel - Good to hear routes etc.

At end of day an average flight to istanbull is about £270 so just because the airlines hike it up doesent mean the club are going to do likewise or spike for instance ,no one will pay it,theres other options via paris amsterdam dalaman antalyer where u can get there for bout 350 to 380
won’t the airlines who they charter the aircraft off not hike it up though ?

About to pull the trigger on Friday to Monday flight for £774.
Feel genuinely sick paying that.
My price is held for another couple of hours so seeing if the club offer something before then.
I felt the same about paying that sort of till for flights, I just feel lucky that I'm in a position to convert it into an 8 day holiday for not that much more money. Even so I've still not pulled the trigger, it all just seems so frivolous to spunk so much hard earned on a football trip.
I'm 63, if I don't do it this time I probably never will get the chance again, certainly not for what could be such a historic moment for our club.

We got Manchester to Copenhagen to Istanbul yesterday with the same return, Friday to Monday, for £394.

Hope the club trip is more expensive!

Couple of us doing Gatwick - Dalaman - Istanbul from Friday to Monday, booked this morning, think it ended up about £320 each inc. chosen seats for all flights

Prices are scandalous I would have loved to book it and hotel, don’t have a ticket but just wanted to be with fellow City fans and soak up the atmosphere in and around Istanbul, but it’s a no go also the wife is home recovering after being in hospital for 3 months,so I’d look a even bigger cnut than normal if I’d of flew out,so it’s the house or off to the pub for me ..

Dream trip for me a city I always wanted to go to
Almost went with Hearts this season but decided to do City's away instead hoping we would get to final.

Google flights is really helpful.
make Sure you check out airlines own website as it is usually cheaper than skyscanner
A lot of f…… about but have a look at London to Sofia then train to Istanbul,if you’ve got the time

Right now you can do Thursday - Monday for around £250/60 on flights. I'm doing Birmingham to Antalya for £194 and then Antalya to Istanbul was £66 the next day. Those are return flight prices as well. Can get a train from Manchester straight to Birmingham Airport as well.

Birmingham > Antalya - Thursday
Antalya > Istanbul - Friday
Istanbul > Antalya - Sunday
Antayla - Birmingham - Monday

I'm also going by myself so if anybody wants to meet for a beer let me know haha. I'm staying near Besiktas stadium, going to try and do a tour of their ground and Galatasary. Fenerbache don't do one apparently.

Interesting jet2 doing some flights I won’t be going as posted above but fly out from Belfast to Antalya Friday, return Tuesday was working out around £225..

Just managed flights going out on 9th returning on 11th..

Manchester (09.35) - Budapest (13.15), Budapest (15.00) - SAW (18.20)

SAW (18.50) - Dalaman (20.05), Dalaman (21.50) - Manchester (00.25)

How? I got it to more than that just on the outbound journey with those flights!

Leeds to Dalaman on Jet 2 on Friday and into Instanbul for 7am Saturday with some airline I've never heard oif. Fly back Sunday evening and cost about £330 in total. Not bad when you consider what the day trip will cost.
Please advise where you found this, particularly the internal Turkish flights?

Yeah I booked via Antalya from Manchester, Friday to Monday. Seemed the best route in terms of balancing cost and convenience. Not too much hassle and fairly cheap. Direct flights were way too expensive and that was on Tuesday.
