Happy enough with that. Gone from.having no left footers in the backline in recent weeks to almost all.

Immediate thought would be walker, laporte. Ake, gomez as the back 4 with lewis in with phillips and foden ahead of them but now wondering to even out the distribution of left footers could we perhaps see Lewis right back, Walker and Laporte cb with ake left back with gomez in midfield?

Id love us to just not lose tso we can remain unbeaten, a win would be delightful but just don't get injured. That's the only concern at this point, treat it like a friendly if needs be.

If either or both of Gundo or Bernie go I expect we’ll see Phil playing a lot deeper next season. Until he went off last week he looked very good there.
 
Our team (vs their team) is good enough to win.

But I don’t really care about the result, I just want a good run out with no injuries.

Wouldn’t mind Alvarez getting a hat trick and Phillips getting a goal, though. ;-)

Absolutely Foden is our future 10
 
We will know next week if playing the stiffs was the right decision.

Personally......i think its the right choice getting minutes in the players that havent had much of a look in.You never know.....some may still be needed when it matters.
 
Hoping for:

No injuries
At least a draw to keep unbeaten run going and get 90 points
Performances from Alvarez, Foden, Mahrez to get their confidence up as we may need them in the next 2 games
 
I prefer it when the players aren't rested and they're playing every 3 or 4 days.

They get into a rythm.

Didn't Pep once rest his Bayern players at the end of the season and they didn't do well in the final cup games?

Forgot that last bit , it is risky , i think the players do do better in a rythm

I wish we had a game on Wednesday and one the Wednesday after n’all.

The biggest dread I have for the two finals aren’t United and Inter, it’s City losing momentum and sharpness.
 
Surely Dias and JG have actual injuries if to not feature two games in a row? Hopefully nothing serious.
 
No issue with that side whatsoever. I'm guessing that the "A teamers" who aren't in today (Dias, Rodri, Stones, KDB, NMS, Gundogan, Silva and Grealish) will be galavanting across the green swarf of Brent next saturday.
