These are generally a tough nuggety but well coached side. They don’t really leave us much space to play. Toney will obviously be a big loss for them.

Would be good to go relatively strong and notch up the win to beat every team in the premier league. Erling could do with a goal.

As usual if we turn up and play as we can, we should win.

Obviously i' d rather we win or draw and keep the unbeaten record going , but it is hard to disagree in many ways.
Last Sunday when I saw the team on the screen at City square I was a little disappointed as I thought from a fairly selfish perspective, 'I've paid £60 for this and most of the big boys are not in the starting line up' . At the end of the day it wasn't a particularly great game but we won and we got to see the presentation. 1:0 and no injuries far better than 5:0 and KDB or Haaland or Rodri crocked.
Hopefully Pep has a similair mindset tomorrow, give the likes of Phillips, Gomez, Palmer, Rico etc..a run out.
Hopefully our 'big boys' aren't risked too much. Having said that they can get injured in training!. Wasn't there also that fairly amusing case (obviously not for the player concerned) where a goalkeeper missed playing for his country in the World Cup because he got injured dropping a vase on his foot?
Think it was Dave Beasant many years ago that injured himself dropping a bottle of Salad cream on his bare foot. It was ok though, because he had a ready made dressing.
