If there is even a slight concern with De Bruyne, Dias and Grealish by Wedneaday/ Thursday I think Pep leaves them in Manchester.

Why not on the bench? Even a 75% De Bruyne, brought on in the sixtieth or even seventieth minute, is capable of changing a game in the twinkling of an eye. Aymeric played entire matches injured at the end of last season (and we should all recognise it), and did a fine job. I'm not suggesting that, and it's far from desirable, and we're not at that point, thank God, but if I were the manager I'd want to bring those along to sit on the bench if they really only have got niggles.

The GK position is an issue. It really depends on what the agreement was with Ortega when he signed. If Pep told him he would play in domestic cup finals then I doubt he will go back on his word.

I think the games that Ortega played recently were less about giving Ederson a rest, more about getting Ortega prepared for next week
Ortega starts 100% for me.

I actually think he’s a potentially better choice against a team like United who aren’t going to press much but will no doubt get a couple of chances, Ortega shot stopping is pretty impressive.

It's a wonder the media haven't gone with a Headline.
"Can Manchester City stop united winning the domestic cup double"
Win or lose at the weekend (and then we win big ears) the media will sell it as Manchester sharing the four major football honours. Just like they say us and the dippers have shared the past 6 PL titles. Shitstains

We got this.
We are better by large margins.
We will turn up.
The offside law won't be suspended for a cup final.
Their end will be largely empty with 15 left to play.
If they don't park the bus we score at least 3 past that back 4.
Walker to give Rashford fucking nothing.

Take your pick.

I haven't read anything official about KDB, Grealish or Dias being injured. Is this just speculation because they didn't play in meaningless games or do people actually know something? KDB has obviously been knackered at the ends of matches recently so it would have been stupid not to rest him. Grealish has been getting mugged on the pitch every match so risking him would have been dumb too. Dias and Rodri also needed a rest, Pep knows what he's doing.

For the record, I've seen Pep's comments about them prior to Brentford. He said if they needed the points they'd have played and he also said he expects them to be ready for the scum. I figure this is just Pep deploying a little gamesmanship.

I might be reading too much into it, but seeing Grealish and Dias both posting on social media today makes me think they must be in good spirits?

Just thinking, surely if you'd just realised you're not fit for the FA cup final, you'd be giving social media a swerve.

I believe they both type with their toes so most likely both are fully fit.

Is the right answer.

The thing keeping me settled is knowing that we’ve had several big games this year and we haven’t failed to turn it on in one of them. If you’re fussy maybe Anfield but that’s nothing new.

KDB, Jack, Ruben and Akanji is all a ruse. Utd will be dealt a huge psychological blow when it becomes clear they’ll all play.
Fantastic mind games by Pep, they seriously think they can stop us with our depleted squad. That’ll go out of the window at the latest possible time and will screw their heads and preparations.
Masterstroke Pep.

Frickin hope so.

What mind games? Everyone knows everyone is fit. Pep is the only manager that like to say 'X player has niggles' when it's obvious that player will play. United know City will come with best XI possible with exception of Ortega in goal.
