Setting off 1pm tomorrow. Driving to Ruislip. Staying over. Wealdstone Saturday, train to Wembley park. Drive home after the match.Jobs a goodun.
It was in 2011 to my cost
I had to leave bang on the final whistle to catch the last train to Leeds. Didn’t stay with the rest of our support to celebrate the win. And I headed to Wembley Park station as I thought that would be quicker than Wembley Central. What happened?
Hope you didn’t fall asleep on itI had to leave bang on the final whistle to catch the last train to Leeds. Didn’t stay with the rest of our support to celebrate the win. And I headed to Wembley Park station as I thought that would be quicker than Wembley Central.
So outside the ground there were me and a handful of City fans plus thousands of united hooligans. Got a bit of a kicking before making my way to relative safety. It was all very violent for a while until mounted police charged them. Eventually City fans left the stadium, the numbers evened up and it settled down.
On the plus side I did manage to catch the final train!
Warwick and BeaconsfieldDon’t suppose anyone knows which of our proposed service stations has a decent number of EV charging spots?

We’re doing the same. Check in is from 3pm though isn’t it? You should be able to check in earlier for an extra £10.5 of us in a mate’s car from Gorton, Denton, Heaton Chapel, and Heaton Norris setting off at 6am. Staying in Premier Inn Stevenage which we’d booked and paid for before the train strike was announced so looking like an Uber from there to Watford Junction and the train into Wembley Central
This one looks like an EV dream - thanksNew services on M6 Rugby has loads
