yup... and helping to slash the zero-hour contracts of many decent hardworking reporters and assorted editorial staff, 99 per cent of whom had fk all to do with any such behaviour - that's the way they will pay for this, by cutting jobs.

Looking at his statement.

This is his way of being cathartic. There's a lot of measured rage in it. Going through court, win or lose its on the public record the shit he's been put through and gives me a better perspective on the man.

I believe all front line operational aircrew do a SERE C (survive, evade, resist, extract) course. The C course involves resisting interrogation training, administered by staff with no names from various spook units - everyone talks in the end.

Glad you said that , people need to see what sort of pain people who have hacked are in , they lose trust in everyone close to them, not sure who but convinced their friends or family are selling stories on them , dont even get me started on milly dowlers parents and stephen lawrences mum

Many journalists hacked phones and knew how to. And they published stories they knew had come from illegal means. They’re still on the wrong side of history.

I understand that loss of trust and the difficulty in restoring it in anyone or anything.

I'm just a pleb so it doesn't matter too much in the great scheme of things.

Compared to a man who's part of the most famous family in possibly the world having his relationships destroyed by complete strangers wanting a story.

Chelsey must have been his first true love and what they did to her hurt him. Fuck knows how angry he is at what they are now doing to his wife.

I think his mum would be proud of what he's doing to protect himself and her.
