We also have options. I think Palmer is a talent, and has earned his place. Grealish is a shoe in. Assuming Bernardo and Mahrez go, we look for 1 or 2. Gnonto looks a talent. Borges/Mebude/Ndala are all really talented. McAtee isn't a winger, but neither (really) is Bernardo, and Bobb, for me the biggest prospect of the group.
Yes, we know that there is a risk with young players, but they can also bring (when supported by extensive experience in the squad) a real energy and dynamism. These are such exciting times.
I think City are in need of signings and not youth. I don’t think Palmer is ready and needs a proper loan to grow. None of our youth are that ready to step up if Bernardo or and Mahrez goes. The teams needs top level injections

The transfer forum will be a quiet place once @tolmie's hairdoo starts his new job. Also the information passed re the premier league case. You have gave us all a light at the end of the tunnel on that particular topic.

All good things come to an end. Ric may need to sell the yacht now -:)

And I think we will get them in the central areas but I think the potential is there for youth in the wide areas, because there will be fewer appearances available assuming that Grealish, Alvarez, KDB, and Phil are also used, and assuming that both Bern and Mahrez leave.

Genuinely love watching him play, have done since he consistently took the piss out of us when he was at Leicester, but would personally take a handsome fee for him this Summer and use it as a chance to rebuild/reinvent that right-hand side. Not to mention it could give Foden a free run at it too.

He (Mahrez) is fantastic. A proper artist on the pitch that I’ve loved having in blue for 5 years.

I’d keep him because not only is he one of our most consistent high performers but the excellence in his play is all down to outstanding technique.
He doesn’t rely on strength, explosive acceleration or top speed. He’s not a physical player, his quality is ultimately between his ears so, as with Modric (a player with similar physique and similar sporting reliance on the stuff between his ears) it’s highly likely that he’ll be just as good as he now is for quite a number of years to come.
IMO Mahrez will still be making international standard leftbacks look like dicks for the next 5 years and beyond.

Doesn't Mahrez only have one year left?

If over £50m comes in and I think the club will allow Riyad the choice to stay or go.
