You can in spanishPity you can't rhyme Stones and cojones...
It was pretty sad. He's still only 32, he should have won it all with us- instead he's playing in SwitzerlandGot the job done!
Think the difference this season has been the fact this team know how to dig deep and win the games despite us not playing well. Some big game players have stepped up this season.
Respect though to inter Milan, they played very good and stopped us from playing our usual standard of football.
Man or the match for me was Eddie, them saves was as important as Rodri’s goal!
Btw did anyone feel like Balotelli was looking at our players celebrating and wondering ‘what could have been with himself’
Honestly he could have been one of the best strikers in the world in 2012 if he had a better attitude to the game.
Still love the bloke though! Just feel like he was looking like a man full of regrets last night.
Anyway
Thank you pep and city !
That game will be forever be in my heart
Never been able to decide whether if he'd played for Pep he'd have become world class or Pep would have binned him off.It was pretty sad. He's still only 32, he should have won it all with us- instead he's playing in Switzerland
He'd have binned him off unless he'd miraculously changed his attitude.Never been able to decide whether if he'd played for Pep he'd have become world class or Pep would have binned him off.
Enjoy it whilst you can coz of course next year will be our year!!!
Dimarco stood out for me. His anticipation and speed meant Bernardo had extra defending to do.Watched the whole match again today, without the adrenaline fuelled stress and a few things became apparent.
We weren’t shit, we actually pretty much controlled the whole game. There were nerves in the first half with a few missed passes and rushed clearances, but inter never really threatened anything until the last 15 minutes. The performance was super professional rather than spectacular, but I did sense that everyone was at the very end of their physical and psychological tether. Thank god it couldn’t go to a replay.
Eddy, Reuben, Johnny and Phil had brilliant games and no individual from inter really stood out. It was not a lucky win, it was the fully deserved outcome for the better team.
They all now deserve a bloody good rest and a fantastic holiday.
That was a performance?I gotta ask
How on earth did they manage to book a united fan (burna boy) to preform in this final? That's actually unreal.
Can you imagine them booking noel gallagher to play in a united final? Then invite him for post match interviews where he talks about how much he didn't want United to win?
Baffling
No recording of York away?Just watched the City v Gillingham 99 highlights, to remind myself where we have come from.
??You can in spanish
It's Spanish week. CAMPEONES!I told you all, i knew this would fuxking happen I read it in the Brentford match day thread when all the football managers in there were saying pep messed up by resting key players and the team would crumble. As if we would win the treble after giving some players a week off. Why can't pep just listen to more experienced and decorated managers like we have on here and we might have actually won something..... ooohhh wait a minute!! CHAMPIONES CHAMPIONES OLE OLE OLE.
Bloody fuckwits.
V.I.P. Lounge. In the world of John Wick…we are the TOP TABLE
Ha, snap. Was a good old sing off this morning.Sorry for so many posts. I was awake anyway but the 4.30 am call to prayer really woke me up!
Absolutely incredible, isn't it? From playing away in fucking Colchester to winning the treble. It's the stuff of dreams.Just watched the City v Gillingham 99 highlights, to remind myself where we have come from.
