Can't remember who it was on Times Radio but they made a salient point when discussing education standards in the UK.

The Tory Ponce was arguing state schools are failing the country. She came back with the state education system works because it made millions of people think and come to the conclusion that in fact the private school system is the issue. Reeling of politicians from Eton who are in charge now proving her point.

Reading some of those Twitter replies makes me realise that many people have no idea of either the Constitution or Parliamentary Privilege.

For example, an MP can stand up in Parliament and call you/me/Johnson a paedo, murderer or traitor and there is no legal redress unless they repeat it outside the House.

A PM or Party Leader has no special privilege in his/her role as an MP - Parliament is supreme and can suspend any member it chooses to suspend, irrespective of their status as one of the King's Ministers. Indeed, the right of Parliament to hold Ministers to account, to the point of impeachment, goes back to the time of Edward III.
