His passing was great at Leeds. Looks tentative and scared with us. Hope it's just first season jitters. But his passing has been sheepish :(
 
I’d have probably still have Cherki over Güler. Not that the former is coming to City but if I was choosing, it’d be Cherki.
 
Havertz stuff in Guardian is absolute bollocks.

Also all this talk of a winger, I don’t see an out and out winger as some are predicting. Also not so sure Foden will primarily play Centre next season, depending who is in the squad in Aug.

City are not losing Mahrez and Bernardo (both highly likely) to go, along with Palmer on loan and not signing a winger.

Even if Palmer stays, 100% a replacement is being signed - minimum.

I think most people see us signing an attacking midfielder rather than a traditional winger.

No one is sure of anything but any team with Haaland, Foden, Grealish, Alvarez, Rodri, Dias, Stones, Ake, Walker, Ederson, Akanji and Ortega and possibly Gvardiol will have an enormous starting point. I have taken the extreme conservative position of excluding an injured KDB and those in question, Gundogan, Bernardo, and Mahrez just to emphasize how strong we are

Yes he's not a burner in the Sane mode but he's quick enough and extremely good off the dribble. Has no problem taking people on and dribbling past defenders.

Why can't he follow the Foden route of doing things?
He knows the system and has been part of a Treble winning squad, i'd let him (hopefully) develop and grow again next season and assess after that.
The same goes for Gomez and Phillips too.
The squad isn't that big, so we can't be losing everyone.

A replacement IF a couple go, depends on squad but don’t see an out and out winger, Pep seems to prefer Grealish - Bernardo recently, neither id say are out and out conventional wingers.
