PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not gonna believe this, I'm stood next to Murray Rosen KC on the Metro right now into Manchester.

Listening in to his convo with a Clerk.

Absolutely bizarre.

He's talking cricket.

Makes complete sense. Think it was Sam Delaney (no relation to Miguel) on Top Flight Time Machine Podcast that described Arsenal and its fans as a Football club that deep down wants to be a Cricket Club.

Its true. A mate of my lad was in Royton Precinct and Aguero was casually strolling towards him. He stopped for a photo. This is probably 3 or 4 years ago. It was all over social media at the time
He used to go to Mazzos for food, his hairdresser was based in Lees he went a few times but then used to go to his house to do it and quite a few others.

Can we not just get Khaldoon to do a sit down interview like the end of season one and lay out how we are not guilt it’s all taken to long with too much going on in the media

The way the charges against us were presented and published suggests this is all about negative/destructive PR. The charges and process are the punishment, the allegations will fall away but our rivals didn’t for one moment imagine we’d fight back and win the pure treble. They’ve shot themselves right through the foot. Fucking idiots.
Spot-on. If the PL had any evidence why didn't they sanction us? Why go to a panel? This is a smear campaign and nothing else. Remember a High Court judge has already criticised BOTH parties (PL and City) for delaying tactics in the case. The media is only criticising City for dragging their feet but both parties wanted to keep the case totally private. It seems the PL have no evidence and there is no reason why City should tolerate a fishing expedition from them, especially as they continue to act in bad faith by sharing everything with our main commercial rivals.

The cartel clubs have obviously urged the P/L to take action against City.
City have looked at the accusations and scratched off almost all of them sort of saying," is that all you've got?"
The P/L, not wanting to be publicly humiliated probably want to sort something out with City in private and let the whole issue slowly die away.
The cartel clubs are not happy and say to the P/L,"but you've found 115 anomalies, there is surely something there with which to hobble City".
P/L - "No".
In the background are the good old media blindly following the narrative spouted by the cartel clubs waiting for their big story.
Guess what - City are guilty of so little it isn't worth bothering about. The P/L wish they had never listened to the cartel in the first place and the media will be waiting for an awful long time for their 'breaking news'.

City are also pushing the P/L to sort this out, the accuser being the one who needs to 'put up or shut up'.
The club are in control.
Pep is unconcerned and very happy.
AND GNIAC!

Yes the hairdresser was in Lees. My daughter is a beautician in Saddleworth and had his partner Sofia as a client. Never understood why they would Tavel so far.

Word of mouth pal, eventually the lad would go to his house, the barber is a friend of a friend of mine and he got Sergio to sign a shirt for me.

Because it has to follow due process
If the breaches are not subject to a "fixed penalty" then the chair of the Judicial Panel will appoint a commission with three members, one who must be legally qualified See Section w page 247

Yep. They are following their protocol. Whether they had to do it so voraciously is another question, of course.

A rag I know was telling me to enjoy it now while it lasts before the charges get actioned. I told him they were the best thing to happen to us, as our form was off before then, it galvanised the club and Pep instilled a siege mentality. Without that we probably wouldn't have won the treble... There were no follow up questions

There is no such thing as neutral football fan, but if we where to find one and ask him. What team in the PL has done the must for the sport, promoting it and developing it . Making unforgettable moments, and making fans all over the world. The answer is not Liverpool or Manchester United but it is with out a doubt City.
There must been someone insite PL thinking what have we done here this is our golden goose and we are trying to kill it.

I find telling them that dozens of those charges relate to Mancini, and when he was asked about it, said no one from the Premier League had even been in touch.

You can see the hope drain away as they realise 115 charges are just PR spin for a half-arsed investigation.
