HM trial re-set for February next year,
Pleased because if he did wrong he has to pay the penalty as we all would.
Just suspected the Greek system may have been ‘encouraged’ to allow it to be brushed under the carpet.
Only negative is he will strengthen their defence if he gets sent down…
Should keep him at the rags for another season because who would want to buy a player who could be in jail before the end of the season

Would it not send out a huge statement if we didn’t have a Utd thread at all? They have become an irrelevance I’m just not interested in anymore. Shouldn’t even be referring to them as ‘Utd’ now , as the new competition will be Newcastle……
And yet, you post in here.

Stuff your knighthood up your arse Fergie!. Man UKNIGHTED my arse, now bow down to the greatest treble winners of all time and the only authentic treble winners at that, you runner ups!.

Oh yes, and they are irrelevant anyway. No matter what they do, we will always be the first English football team to win the treble as champions, nothing ever will take that away from us and a quadruple won't ever happen in the physicality of today's modern game. That's why we had to wait 24 years for a European treble to actually happen again.

What a season last one was, can now actually enjoy it once the DVDs come out and/or the Amazon Prime documentary.

Utterly useless football team are the rags, if you can call them that. In our shadows forever now, they are wankers and morons of the highest order and so utterly deluded, especially thinking the fallen through Qatar deal would be their silver bullet.
The PURE treble

Has a manager of any other club been knighted immediately after winning the CL, or only utd?
Genuine Q
Can only think of the Rags. Even Sir Matt Busby got one shortly afters.

Jock Stein would have been knighted, but his Celtic players behaviour in the Intercontinental Cup game was seen as so apalling, he only got a CBE.

Cloughie I know wasn't knighted, he only had either a CBE or MBE, while Bob Paisley of the dippers depsite three wins, was also in the same boat as Cloughie.

Pep isn't a British Citizen, so isn't eligible, but he might be for an honorary knighthood, like Bob Geldof for example. The only difference being he can't use "Sir" as his title, but like anyone else awarded can use the post nominals KBE. If Pep ever gets one, he can use "Sir" if Spain is a Commonwealth country, or he gets British citizenship (which I think it isn't).

Terry Wogan only became Sir Terry when he got British citizenship, the Knighthood was originally honorary as Ireland is not in the Commonwealth of Nations.

So yes, only for the Raggies are these noble honours, I blame the public falling for media hype as soon as they won it causing them to lobby him to get it, as well as all the build up hype. We didn't get any of that, but so what.... sod em.

Thought so. Remember my dad telling me years ago (Celtic fan) that he always looked out for utd’s results after Munich (soft spot for them) but turned against them after Busby got knighted and Stein didn’t. When we moved to Manchester, he fell in love with City and passed it on

I think your analysis of Stein not getting a knighthood is bollocks, i’m not getting into it, I’m sure @Magicpole could provide more perspective than me

but your deade right about the rag bias

Desperately chasing Mason Mount like a pissed up 18 year in a nightclub at 2am going after anything because all his mates copped off, with much fitter women, two hours ago. Chelsea are going to take them to the cleaners and they’ll need to pay stupid wages, yet again, to a player who’s never going to get them to the next level.
