I’m cool to have both. Declan is excellent, but Stones’ performance in the CL final was epic.He still can cover that position with minimum fuss when required and is a similar standard to Declan Rice.
Pep rarely makes subs unless it is totally necessary and we hardly rotated last season. It is overkill to be honestI’m cool to have both. Declan is excellent, but Stones’ performance in the CL final was epic.
Rarely? Seems as Thought he has a core of 14-15 that he sticks with, outside of keeper. We need a few for that to maintain. Maybe Rice?Pep rarely makes subs unless it is totally necessary and we hardly rotated last season
He won't play any games with the rice signing
Rodri played 54 games and other than us playing lower league opposition he normally plays in the cup games.Rarely? Seems as Thought he has a core of 14-15 that he sticks with, outside of keeper. We need a few for that to maintain. Maybe Rice?
Not with Rice signing. His chances of playing is further reduced.Okay Pep
What a ridicilous post.
I’m sure I’m not the only person that sees this a potential weak spot for us. We need a cover.Rodri played 54 games and other than us playing lower league opposition he normally plays in the cup games.
Rodri is normally the player is rarely rotated so the need for cover is negated. Same with Erling Haaland. If Pep used his substitutions more then I can really see the necessity in signing Declan Rice.I’m sure I’m not the only person that sees this a potential weak spot for us. We need a cover.
but if you look at minutes played there is a big drop off after, oddly, Phil. Next most minutes is Laporte.
Gvardiol expected to be agreed in next week :)
Cancelo also has a Saudi offer directly from Ronaldo.
That was this season. Changes every year with Pep. Rodri is also the player he didn’t start in the Chelsea CL final. I doubt that the reason Rodri didn’t get rotated a little more is because Pep didn’t want to.Rodri is normally the player is rarely rotated so the need for cover is negated. Same with Erling Haaland
Pep started an out of sorts Raheem Sterling and the overall performance seemed very strange too. That Champions League final wasn't his finest hour at City. That was this season. I don't see a way in for Phillips if Rice does arrive. You don't know, you are not a Pep. He can decides at this very moment to give a chance to Philips playing the position that he is not preffered should he takes a second chance next season.
Pep always being Pep, he will decides what best for team even keeping Phillips for next season for whatever reason not giving fucks about what anyone thinks about it, no one not even you and me will know what Pep will be thinking at this very moment.
Not sure there is a way in if he doesn't arrive. Pep was pretty clear with his intentions this year..I don't see a way in for Phillips if Rice does arrive.
In Stones we trust. Not my ideal choice but Rico Lewis (although he is still a kid learning) too.Agreed.
Guess we will see with the signings. I think Rodri was our player of the year. Get a little frightened of what we would do if he went down With a serious injury.
