Glastonbury 2023

Got to hand it to Norman Cook.

From Paul Heatons bitch to superstar DJ.

Consistently good.
True story in 2000 I was in manumission in Ibiza, went out the main part to a bar on the side, Cook was DJing in there and stood next to me at the bar was Noel Gallagher, I said up the blues he nodded and I fucked off after paying £28 for 4 vodka red bulls.

Would love to be there, but then I wouldn't have been able to watch Leftfield, dropped in on GnR and Lana for 20 mins and then watched Fatboy blast it out

Look some people expect these groups/singers to sound the same as they were in their heyday/ prime ffs I went to see whitesnake about 6 months ago or more in Dublin unfortunately coverdale’s voice has gone but ffs he can’t sound like he was in the mid 80’s like a lot of those groups/ singers.

Best thing I’ve seen so far. I saw the pistols at Brixton academy on their farewell tour - first time I realised they could actually play properly & Jones was brilliant that night too.
I saw them at the MEN I think it was about 2007?, was a bit of a short gig but loved it. Think the line up was Lydon, Jones, Cook and Matlock, great band, second only to The Clash for me.
