I think with a never before done 4 in a row, the club should be doing everything they can (they will, I'm sure) to really go for the PL title. How often do clubs fond themselves in that position. Even to retain the CL, which is also a feat no English club has ever done and only one other European club managed.

Definitely agree with this. And we should be basing our transfer business on going for a fourth title in a row. No weakening of the squad, now is the time to put our foot on the rivals’ throats.

If Mahrez goes I'd go for a very good striker due to there not being many good wingers about.

3 top forwards could make up for a lack of goals coming from wide positions.

Don't laugh now but ... Kane, Toney, Mitrovic, Osimhen, etc??? :-) Sorry even I can't suggest this without laughing but still we need more options in terms of scoring if Mahrez is off....
Kane and Haaland up top lol

I'd say at his absolute peak Yaya was the best footballer of the lot...At this point only KDB at that level.

A substantial cash sum plus Cancelo for FDJ would make sense for all parties (well, apart from FDJ’s own wallet perhaps)
Time Khaldoon opened up the super secret hidden bung account again. They would never suspect such a move. Maybe keep it away from emails tho…

FDJ illicit Fund, nothing obvious like.

Vini or Pedri would be epic under Pep
How about both, we are the best team in the world, Treble winners, best in everything. Bringing them both would show a statement of intent that we are not here to f*** about. We are here to dominant world football!

FDJ is never happening, not only are his wages way too high, he also has deferred wages that hasn't been paid yet by Barca(last time i checked), so he's not going anywhere anytime soon as long as that situation hasn't been cleared up yet.

I’d (nearly) be as excited about this as I was Haaland. Seriously.
If Bernie wants out then a straight swap Including Cancelo, with FDJ coming to us would be Ideal, Bernie gets his wish to play nearer home, we get Cancelo off the wage list and bag ourselves a player who would just slot right In.

If there's one summer when we can perhaps have a clear out, it's this one?

Coming off the back of a Treble, a World Club Cup and Super Cup on the horizon, City might not be too fearful of a small downturn that doesn't see us win the Prem?

One step back to go again for the next five years at the very top?

Our core squad will be still knocking at the door and I would still make us favourites for the title and Champions League.
Wouldnt be surprised if we do a madrid and slump in the league a little but take a back 2 back CL.
