Going off the heat map earlier that has Rice more left of CM and Rodri more central, I'm envisioning our new formation being 3331. BAM...!

Breaking - Lingard is a free agent and just turned down Saudi club .
We really need a rapid right wing … ball boy.
Exchange for Szoboszlai?A few headline snippets for you all to chew over..
Bernie and Walker both offered new deals which they are mulling over
Gvardiol not as advanced as some seem to think.
Rice bid as widely described, confidence that we'll get him.
Leipzig most likely destination for Cancelo as it stands
Arsenal want Laporte but we won't sell him to them.
The buffet? It would be great but I think it’s too early in the summer to know where things stand with Bernardo. He’s getting married at the weekend so I think his focus will be elsewhere for a little while.
cant find that rumour Cancelo anywhereExchange for Szoboszlai?
Jeez, you’ve got a hard—on for this guy.Exchange for Szoboszlai?
The richards30 redemption arc from transfer menace to respected transfer poster is something to behold.

He's competing with KDB, Bernardo, Mahrez and Foden amongst others to start with Haaland. It's tough to fit it all in an 11.Interesting that when folks post their ideal first team line-ups for the season ahead, the name Julian Alvarez never features. This guy is a gem and he is ours - for now. Unless the club can find a way to integrate him as a regular first choice starter, we risk losing a potential word-class talent. And he has a long career ahead of him. I want it to be with City. It's always great fun considering how potential new signings would impact the team, but for me, accommodating a regular role for Julian in the set-up should be a top priority for the season ahead.
He has to be more than the back-up guy when the best striker in world football needs afew minutes on the sidelines.

To be honest if you look at most team predictions in last season’s matchday threads, Ilkay was excluded more than he was includedInteresting that when folks post their ideal first team line-ups for the season ahead, the name Julian Alvarez never features.
