A thought just occurred to me.
If Mason Mount is going to be the talisman for the rags, how sh1t must they be?
Well where do you start.
Do you start with the worst first.
Sancho.
Anthony
Easter Island
.
Or the best worst first.
Probably.........
The dougnut thief.
Oh he's gone

To be fair, The Red Filth's transfer policy/system has improved upon the days when Woodward was sourcing new signings via the (eventually discovered to be) dubious Islington emporium 'I Saw You Coming (prop. H Enfield, Esq.)'.

A complete, fresh change of direction under Ten Hag's direction has seen them now make a new start, successfully employing the services of celebrated experts in the field, 'Modern Wank of Islington (prop. H Enfield, Esq.)'.

As The Who put it, 'meet the new Boss, same as the old Boss'..
. . .and they'll still get fooled again...., and again,....and again...

PREQUEL ALERT:
The way we got there though you could say was the luck we got was deserved.
Swales destroyed the club. I can’t and never will get past my hatred (yep hatred) of him.
Franny? What if he’d not appointed Alan fucking Ball and actually given the job to an up and coming manager ( don’t know or can’t remember who was about at the time) we might actually have become a comfortable mid table team.

Wardle/Makin/ Bernstein steadied the ship and sold a going concern ( granted the annus horribilis that was Pearce) and sold in good faith to Frank.

Lets be honest that fucking banner would now be at 48 years.

You’re spot on how it all fell.

We always said Keep the Faith, let’s keep on keeping it.

WTFAmu?

CTID.
As you were my lovely fellow Blues
Completely spot on sir. Alan "atrocious" Ball!?!!!!!! And we wasted a decent Oasis song on the ginger midget!

Controversially, I'm gonna stick up for Brummie Brian Who Horton. Not the worst manager we've ever seen, looking at ballsy and Clarke, painful.

It's such a joyous thing how the trajectory of our two clubs have been in overall polar opposite directions since 1999. I think Wardle and Bernstein were superb in keeping us afloat, honourable mentions to Royle, Keegan, Sven.

The catalyst was Roberto Mancini, shoved that banner right up their arses.

Thank goodness for those Irish horse folk, who bore a grudge and slur's greed opening the door for everyone's favourite American "investors."

They mobilse all the dirty underhanded tricks off the pitch, because they're incapable of competing on it.

Bullet the blue sky!

Doubt many Blues would disagree - yes it was Brian Who to start with but, we had some great games when he was in charge - Spuds at home for one.
He was never going to take us anywhere to be fair. No disresepct to him. The club were a proper basket case and he made a half decent fist of it with what he had.
Met him a fair few times down the years and he still seems amazed that he was the manager of Manchester City once and is a thoroughly decent bloke to boot.
It speaks volumes for him and for us as a fan base that he's still held in such high esteem.
Though perhaps Dennis Tueart would maybe disagree!!!!!

Brandon Williams makes more than McTominay? McTominay, at least, plays minutes for that club. They really screwed themselves up nicely.

Like Shaw, £150k a week?. I bet pukka pies are fuckin made up.

What a complete embarrassment that excuse for a club have become: the laughing stock of the footballing world.
Had to be 'assisted' by pgmol in order to qualify for CL, and now this!

Ha ha ha, ha ha ha...'ave it!
And they’ll be assisted again this season, although if that’s good enough to get them top 4 I doubt it..
