On Al-Ahli wanted List offering £43 million a year plus Bonuses in wages
The fans of Al-Ahli ask their President to sign Mahrez :)
Is this move on? Some media are making it out he has agreed a deal with them, and it's down to us whether we let him go. They would have to pay up, though, big time.
Nothing serious as far as I know. But he seems to be exceptionally wanted by the fans.Is this move on? Some media are making it out he has agreed a deal with them, and it's down to us whether we let him go. They would have to pay up, though, big time.
Not surprised at them wanting him fabulous player .Nothing serious as far as I know. But he seems to be exceptionally wanted by the fans.
Screw that. If the Saudi’s want him, they should pay us extra like we have to pay extra for all the English players. 50% higher rate so at least 60 mil40m is about the right fee
I thought 40m was the personal terms agreed between Mahrez and the Saudis for his contract, not the amount being paid to City.40m is about the right fee
Always thought that was a fascinating comment.“He is always grumpy with me when he doesn’t play all the time, he makes me notice how grumpy he feels,” the Spaniard said.
“Today no. He is an exceptional player, a big stage player and has the mentality to score the goal. The composure for the penalty was important to go in after the first half at 1-0 and the second and third goal was brilliant.
“I am so satisfied with Riyad, he has given many, many things in these years and more in the future hopefully.
“We have known each other for many years, I know I have lost the battle to make him understand how important the group is. It is important when he plays at that level and when he does everything is fine.”

You've literally just named the three best candidates to replace Mahrez. If we are replacing Mahrez anyone but Mbappe, Felix or Neymar.
Not by a long chalk. PSG would gladly drive Neymar to Charles de Gaulle airport with a one way ticket out of Paris, again that speaks volumes. Mbappe is ridiculosly expensive for what he currently (although the other important bit is that he isn't interested in a move to City) and Felix is coming off the back of an unremarkable loan spell. Other than that fantastic suggestions. You've literally just named the three best candidates to replace Mahrez.
Fair enough, let's try it another way. Name three better candidates than the ones you listed to replace Mahrez. Not by a long chalk.
