When Wood wants to play my boy can he play. I'm pretty sure he came very close to the quickest 50 in tests once but failed to connect a few times. Shame he couldn't have stayed in for another couple of overs and got 30-40 but it helps change the momentum and lifted us, which is what we needed.

With luck on our side these two can get us close to the Aussie total. Would be nice to see the Aussies drop a catch and lose their heads as we get to 300...but that's a long way off!

Look I'm going to be honest. When Root went I felt this and the series was all over.
