This kid clearly knows how to play and has a lot of potential

His future is as a winger not a full back, once we use him like Spain do he's going to be an asset
I find it hilarious that we develop our future centre MIDs on the wing but seemingly were developing this future winger at... Left back hahah. In a system that doesn't use full backs

Give the lad a chance, he had a dodgy start by getting sent off, but the form of Ake and Akanji has given him few opportunities.

I don’t know how or why, but for some reason my brain thinks Sergio is an Eastern European‘Slavic’.

I don’t know how I missed the hints of’sergio’ and ‘Gomez’ that he was Spanish, but it was a shock when I read he was!

Probably/hopefully just me

He’s a Blue, I always think it must be quite tough being a fan of the club you play for, some can handle it ie Foden, some maybe so desperate to do well it can effect performance. Maybe Sergio comes under the latter.

I think he’s good going forward and seems to have positive energy which is great for squad harmony, he seems a good pal of Julian too.
If he stays I’m more than happy to support him and hope he does really well for us, if Zinchenko can do it so can Sergio…just not at left back.

He’s absolutely not a left back. Would love to see him as Grealish’s back up.
Then, he had to learn not to lose the ball!

I’m not saying he can’t do a LM/LW role, just that he can be a liability in that position if his ball retention skills are not first rate.

Can he fill in for Grealish if he needs a rest or he gets injured? He could do a job but thing Palmer could do it better

Can't fault his crossing ability but I still think he isn't quite good enough for us going forwards.
