I still stand by what I said about him.
This isnt about not giving players enough time, he will not be a LB here, he is too small.
He is playinf LW for Spain, and his best chance in this squad is imo as the LCM, Spains wingers come inside to let the fullback overlap, he basically plays midfield.
His build is most suited for that.

He's spent his first season here learning the system and being part of a Treble winning squad. What a great education!
He's got a good left foot and he can take his man on and put in a cross. I think he looks composed at times and as we don't really have that type of player in the squad, i would keep him around and hope he take's a step up next season.

Not sure what was seen in him for the LB position but the lad should be playing further up.
