Which town (or city) stands out as the least aesthetically pleasing away day you've visited?

The Willows in Salford was as shity a shit hole as you could ever find on this earth.

Even for a rugby league ground it was dog rough.

I think Middlesbrough is a stand out so far - yes other places get gold in some posts but the Boro still gets a podium -place in so many - such a fucking hole. Keep telling my neighbours its a dump but they have lived here all their lives so of course don't agree. Daughter never goes out there as she says its a dump......... and she did 3 years Uni in Carlisle !!!!

Never been to Boro, otherwise I'd have voted for it - as I said, never been there but seen pics and it looks shite, plus boro are in my top five most disliked teams!!

Luton - it's a tip

Oldham - only been there once, last game of the season early nineties when David White scored a hat trick (I think)
Sunny as fuck in Manchester in the morning so wearing t-shirt and shorts, got the bus from Picadilly.......and Burnden Park was freezing
And Oldham was a tip

I used to like going to Shrewsbury away. Attractive, clean, leafy, with good pubs. Loved the small ground and the away end behind the goal.

Shrewsbury is a good boozing town.

Yarm was a decent stop off before Middlesbrough, which is a shithole.
Another shout for Bradford too.

Middlesbrough is indeed a shithole (but some lovely places nearby) but it doesn’t even get close to Hartlepool…now we’re talking top shithole. Fucking rough as arseholes.
